I think the Neighbourhood is a possibility for either Bunbury or PromoWest Fest because why else would PW book them for their fall tour at Stage AE but not in Columbus?

Promowest just announced the first two acts of Buckle Up, and that the full lineup will be announced March 1st. Still waiting on Bunbury news though.

Brad Paisley seems like a pretty big get for them. Nothing I'm interested in, but good for the festival. I've never heard of the other guy, Chase Rice. Hopefully the fact that they are going with mainstream country acts means they will still have some of the Alt-Country bands like Old Crow and Devil Makes Three and stuff like that at Bunbury. I like to have those acts peppered in with the rock stuff.

I've been really annoying on Twitter by begging for hive hints and Playing to Vapors just liked one of my tweets to Bunbury so maybe they're in the lineup

I think Hive Hints will start tomorrow! I think so too. Last year, they started on Monday, February 2nd, so seems likely.

Though if memory serves, the majority seemed to be in the 10:00 to 12:00 range. A little nervous about the fact they haven't even teased them yet.

Yeah, it seems like they've been really quiet compared to past years. Correct. Most were at 10 AM, but some were at noon. They started teasing them the Friday before, so maybe they're not starting today. Their Twitter has been pretty quiet. Only a couple Buckle Up retweets the past week. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I wonder if they're bringing back #BunburyRewards this year. Last year, they said they would, but I'm pretty doubtful. It was pretty cool. Scored Tokyo Police Club and Andy Grammer tickets.

At this point I feel like any news would be good news. Very little talk from them this year.

I'm not sure if he's from around here or what but he plays a bunch of shows a year around here and is always wearing OSU gear. I'm not into country but I know every person that is LOVES Chase Rice, he's not like really big but will get a big following and turn out for shows so that's probably a big deal for people who are looking to go to that.

Still holding out hope for tomorrow. They did start the Hive Hints on February 2nd last year. Still odd that they have gone practically silent this past week.

Why does Buckle Up already have a lineup release date but Bunbury has had no word on anything but their updated bracelets?

Why does Buckle Up already have a lineup release date but Bunbury has had no word on anything but their updated bracelets? I'm kind of disappointed that hive hints didn't start and at the overall lack of info for Bunbury. Maybe I'm just impatient because I already bought VIP and want to know who I'm seeing.

Why does Buckle Up already have a lineup release date but Bunbury has had no word on anything but their updated bracelets? It's just the most BAFFLING thing to me too...there has to be some good reason that they aren't sharing as to why. You'd think you'd want to get a leg up on people planning their festival trips each summer. Is there something with the way Promowest signs bands that they wait for a break on price? Or for when bands finish their touring schedules? It's so ODD!

The Buckle Up thing is just basic marketing. They didn't have it last year. They had to do something to make sure people know it's coming and start talking about it.
With Bunbury, they know they have us already. Just look at the amount of attention that's being paid to it already and nothing has been announced yet.
I honestly don't know what they are waiting for. I don't know much, but I don't think they are having trouble putting the lineup together from chatter I've heard. So I'm not sure why they aren't at least giving us something other than "soon". Maybe they are just trying to build suspense. Who knows? They could at least say Hive Hints will be coming next week. Or tomorrow. Or never. Just let us all stop wondering about it.

Having trouble putting together the lineup as in they don't have enough bands? Or they are having trouble scheduling?

Having trouble putting together the lineup as in they don't have enough bands? Or they are having trouble scheduling? He said he doesn't think they are having trouble putting the lineup together. My guess is they probably have a lot of the lineup locked together and are working on PromoWest Fest now (since they are both run by PromoWest) and that might include locking some acts into playing both events and things like that and they will start to market lineups and stuff here once they get those locked up. Didn't they release the lineup in March last year or close to March. It's not like they are super behind schedule or something that would cause for concern.

I mean, Firefly and Hangout announced all the way back in November! It's becoming a race to see who can announce first and I understand there are reasons for waiting, but Bunbury is losing that race. By a lot.

Ra Ra Riot just announced a tour the ends in April and doesn't make a stop in Cincinnati, and then they've got nothing scheduled until the weekend after Bunbury when they'll be in Cleveland.
