Mike Stud pretty much gave away the fact that Wiz Khalifa will be at Bunbury on Friday How so? Did he say it? Put it on his website?

I count 42 acts on the lineup and 48 last year and 50 the year before. Wonder if there is any chance at a decent add or 2?

I just saw that Shaky Knees has added Ryan Adams and Saint Motel to an already incredible lineup.
And I'm sad all over again.
I hate you, Promowest.

At what point do we accept the lineup and get hyped for OUR festival? I keep checking back hoping for some fun discussion of our lineup, favorite deep cuts, bands you discovered from the lineup, etc. As far as new bands, personally I've been impressed by Mutemath and, surprisingly, NF.

This may not be my favorite Bunbury lineup of all time.. but I'm still finding music to be excited about. To everyone in the "back in my day, Bunbury had multiple alternative headliners!" crowd.. Check out: VHS Collection Arkells San Fermin Moon Taxi Beyond that, grab some friends, grab a beer, and go enjoy the Cincy sunshine alongside the river. Bunbury is still ok in my book.

People just really like to complain about festival lineups. I thought for a festival the size of Bunbury that they did a pretty good job this year, especially when setting how many others are trending towards catering to the younger crowd. Bonnaroo is getting blasted on that board. But yes, there is stuff that sucks and some that's good. Moon Taxi is highly recommended they put on a great show.

I absolutely love July Talk already. Bought both of their albums, and bought tickets to see them at Grog Shop in Cleveland in Feb. Surprisingly heavy, and I love the interplay between dude's gravelly voice, and the girl's angelic one.

If you're from Cincy, they'll be here 2/10 at MOTR for a free show. Judging by your name, I'm guessing you aren't lol. But yeah, some undercards that I have really liked so far are : July Talk San Fermin Dreamers Moon Taxi Civil Twilight Current Events My only concern is Friday is the rap day, Saturday the EDM day, and Sunday is Alt Day. I am afraid Sunday will have most the bands I want to see. We'll see though. I'm still looking forward to this year just as much as I was in 2015 and 16.

I've been listening to NF for a couple years now. He's very good. I thought about maybe taking my bits to see him since is a festival situation. Once people start listening to the bands and new albums get released...etc. I'm sure you'll see more positivity

Arkells opened for Frank Turner last week and they were phenomenal. I haven't listened to much of their studio stuff yet but they are definitely made to put on a live show.

Not every lineup is made for everybody. It's not worth complaining about. I was disappointed because it's not my tastes, but I've moved on. I've already got tickets to High Water Festival in South Carolina and I'm deciding between Nelsonville and Laurelive instead of Bunbury.

K Flay, Capital Cities, Tycho....all great early day undercards. I am only able to go to Bunbury on Friday. Might be heading to the 'ville and crashing on my cousins couch.

Saw July Talk at MOTR. Absolutely outstanding live. If I can find a handful of other bands like that in the undercard, it'll justify the ticket price without including the headliners!

I am seeing them at Grog Shop on Saturday. They are one of the things that makes me excited about VIP this year.

Agreed as the description sounds the same, only I would request they replace Miller & M Lite with some craft beers. Also, hopefully my wife doesn't break a leg again this year so I don't have to push a wheelchair all through the festival weekend.

I went to see July Talk at Grog Shop on Sat night. They were great. I also got to meet them, get an autographed t-shirt, and get a pic with them. Very nice people. Also, I asked them about what day they're playing. It seemed like they legit don't know yet. I was hoping for some inside info.
