The acoustic stage is definitely a nice addition. I guess it will be at that pavilion where the other 2nd stage used to be. Which means VIP would not be in there...hmm. Fri looks good for me. July Talk, Civil Twilight, Mutemath, Death Cab. Sat is still horrible IMO. The biggest problem with Sun is trying to catch Rev Horton and still being able to get a good spot for Muse. May be impossible, in fact. I'm stuck in a car on a road trip so my connection is shoddy, but what is this acoustic stage about? Are there bands scheduled or just like randomness after their sets? It just shows "TBA." I'm guessing the bands will do acoustic sets before/after their main stage sets.

These hour sets are bullshit. Does ANYONE have an indsider that can elaborate on that? Is this like a Taste of Cincinnati or something? You get a little bit of everything?
They continue to book bands with huge live followings that put on great shows but screw the fans out of decent sets

Mutemath and Watsky both on the river stage which vip doesn't apply to, and many overlaps even though there are hardly any acts? This is a poorly made schedule.

"Longer sets!" "Fewer overlaps!" ...you realize something's gotta give, right?
Hour set times for late afternoon acts are almost always 60 mins. Matt & Kim only got 45. Twenty One Pilots, Grimes, Tame Impala and Of Monsters and Men only got a 60 minute slot. Headliners typically get 75 mins. Look at just about any other festival that takes place within city limits (thus needing to abide by noise ordinance laws) and you'll see pretty much the same thing. Just about all of this could have been expected.
The only odd thing to me is the 10:45 closing on Saturday. But we all know many acts have played longer than expected. Snoop came on almost 45 mins late two years ago and still gave us a solid set that went way past 11pm on a Sunday.
Bunbury needs to get here soon. Many of you sound like you need some fresh air, a beer, and live music in your lives ASAP.

We already gave...there are 12 acts each day on 3 stages there should be both longer and no overlap. I could redo the entire schedule sitting on the toilet and it would make sense. This are small errors that NEED to be fixed not even like an oh, bummer like it seems they intentionally did this to piss people off. They have to have absolutely no knowledge of what people want for this to be the schedule. I understand can't please everyone but the majority of these complaints could be avoided by using common sense. Bunbury is done for. When you charge money and then waste peoples time that's not cool. Glad I didn't buy tickets. Always wait, and if I wanted to go it seems it will be easy to get tickets for well under face value. So lucky me if I choose to go. There are just so many unnecessary things happening in this schedule large and small. I can handle a few bummers but this is disrespectful to anyone that paid for a ticket.

The fest is lame and the people running it are toddlers.

I won't be surprised if this is the last year for bunbury. It's really a shame.

I don't care too much about Hayley or DRAM and don't know why they have as long as Bassnectar and Pretty Lights but it's cool for people who like them. It's PromoWest I think that ruined everything right? They need to do better it's embarrassing. I did think that maybe they had a BassLights extra set in store for us to explain the smaller 1 hour sets for each and ending the night earlier than the other two. But still two different stages makes no sense and with no time in between. Have to give up something and that's unacceptable for a fest with only 12 acts a day. Good news is there is still enough to be excited about but geese there sure is a lot to make people upset and feel like they got played, which certainly they did.

Something tells me next year they will go back to a more rock based format with one day of hip hop/edm. I think Muse costed a fortune and they had to spend wisely on the rest of the lineup. Hip-hop and EDM run cheaper to book.

How are we 11 days out with no schedule for the acoustic stage & no map. I keep looking for a map and it's never there. I'd like to take a look at vendor locations. I'm also assuming the acoustic stage is at the pavilion that was the 4th stage in 2015 and the secondary VIP in 2016, but I'd like confirmation. Tweeted at July Talk asking about them playing the acoustic stage, but they didn't respond. Will we have to wait until June 2 to see the acoustic schedule?

I'd also love to know the status of that second vip area to know how early I need to be for some of the acts at Sawyer - in 2015 that area was so small that we couldn't see the Decemberists from there at all. At this point you have to wonder if this is being run by like the errant nephew of the owner of promowest or something.

The map is out. It appears the 2nd VIP area is the same as last year. Looks like the acoustic stage is toward the back of the Sawyer Point Stage area behind the VIP.

I still contend that the main stage is in the wrong spot. The wider lawn at Sawyer point is way more appealing to me than that narrow ass, tree-lined shotgun stage on Yeatmans. I just don't get it.

You've got to stop expecting this festival to make sense I guess. Looking at how it all played out, I really should have tried forecastle this year. The mind-blowing thing is that the original owner was new to all this and nailed it, then promowest, who have been doing this for a long time and are really good at managing and designing their other venues, continues to both it worse every year. Oh well. In a week we will be outside with beers and listening to music. And can leave early and get good dinners. All around a win still.

I still have 2 for sale. Can transfer through ticketmaster if you can do a paypal payment. Selling less than what I paid, $160 each. Or let me know if you'd rather meet in person, assuming you are local.

[ Was pretty disappointed with the new additions until I noticed Hello Luna playing Sunday. I saw them a couple years ago in Columbus right after they formed. They are fantastic. It gives me hope for the others.
