I was listening to some Magic Giant last night. They are interesting and are worth more looking in to.
Also, for those who are not into Blink 182, I recommend just focusing on Travis Barker. Watching him play drums live alone is worth the price of admission.

I've listened to about half of my playlist on Random so I haven't heard everything yet. Things that jump out at me.
1. I like Blink 182 more than I really thought. I still wouldn't pay to see them, but if I was at the festival I'd check them out.
2. A few bands/Acts that I hadn't checked out before that I'm actually really liking. Allan Rayman, Bishop Briggs, Black Pistol Fire, Bummers, Lillie Mae, Magic Giant, Misterwives, The Commonheart, Gangs of Youth.
3. Acts I already knew I'd be excited about and am still enjoying listening to... Fitz and the Tantrums, Foster the People, Jack White, Peter Bjorn and John, Royal Blood, Young the Giant.
4. Acts that I want as big a distance from as possible.... ARIZONA, Griday Giants, LANY, Lecrae, Vesperteen..
5. The Chainsmokers are still boring.
All in all there is more than enough good entertainment for my money even if none of my first choices are on the lineup.

So I thought this was interesting. I spoke to me girlfriends father last night and he’s just a super interesting dude. He said he got to meet the man in charge of AC entertainment and that the man said it has been the goal of LiveNation and AC for the past several years to fold bunbury. The talk of lowering the radius clause is untrue, and they actually expanded it to make sure Bunbury couldn’t compete. He then said he had to hand it to Bunbury because they continually bring back decent acts while competing with the big boys. So good for you Bunbury. This information would seem to confirm why the 2014 debacle happened when Beck pulled out at the last minute to do Forecastle and Bunbury had to scramble at the last minute to get Empire of the Sun (who, btw, did a great show!)

I dont know where to put this question so I'm putting it here. Did they do that stupid "load money on your festival pass" nonsense again last year? That was really annoying in 2016. Also, did they have that Miller Lite pop up bar last year? And I don't see any liquor options, did they do away with those all together? They abandoned the festival pass last year and it went very well. It was beyond ridiculous two years ago when they made the poor walking vendors carry around those terminals. Totally slowed everything down to unbelievably slow. And they had to ask you to leave a tip before you tapped. So awkward. Glad they went back to cash option last year. The pop up bar was there, I assume you mean the one way back from the main stage near the bathrooms. My favorite place to kill a boring set. Liquor was still around. Easy enough to find IMO. And omg don’t waste your fucking time at the chewing tobacco or vaping tents. Nothing was really free and the inundate you with mailers and email for years.

I remember going into the tobacco tent in 2016 (when they had those festival pass things) and it was a complete waste. Good to hear the only things they changed last year (and hopefully this year) was getting rid of the crap that was horrible in 2016.

The one thing they could do that would make me happier than anything else in the world would be to swap the main stages. I SWEAR you can fit more people at Sawyer Point that Yeatmans Cove and have better sightlines.

AND the sound board area doesn’t obstruct nearly as much

Moonbeau is a band I've really liked. Lead singer is the guy from The Yugos. Also, have liked what I've heard from Tall Heights.

How did they miss out on Portugal The Man? Any chance they get added to the lineup, just signed them to play at their venue in Columbus towards the end of May. They are incredible live, going to see them again next week in Louisville.

Maybe the tour was planned before they could get them locked into anything and changing the tour wasn't feasible?
