I'm not 100% on if there's a better way to keep this on the front page, so if there is please let me know but I can update this post.
Friday - Blink 182, Lany, The Wrecks
Saturday - Chainsmokers, Andrew McMahon, Third Eye Blind
Sunday - Jack White, Post Malone, Sir Sly, Manchester Orchestra

I'm guessing Lillie Mae is playing whenever Jack White is since she was part of his band for a long time and is the female vocalist on a song or two of his.

Now that the lineup has dropped, it's time to start sleuthing to see who will be playing what day. I figure there should be a thread to help organize this. From Gov Ball we know that Jack White, Post Malone, Sir Sly and Two Feet are not playing Friday. Manchester and LANY are not playing Saturday and Third Eye Blind is not playing Sunday. I dont think Manchester is playing Friday either. EDIT: sorry I guess Friday is a possibility. They do have Sunday marked on their facebook tour dates though.

I am taking a half day on Friday and driving from Columbus so I REALLY hope they don't put notable acts on Friday until at least 5pm. 2 years ago when I went they starting a lot of undercard acts I wanted to see on Friday at like 3 and it was brutal to miss them because we were still checking into our hotel.

Was this the year of Father John Misty? A few of my friends had that same issue, and they had that horrible entrance line situation that same year.

There’s a lot to be excited about on this undercard, I hope there’s aren’t any bad conflicts. But that’s always the problem with lineups like this. Last year my two favorite early day bands were Arkells and Dreamers, and the played at the EXACT damn time

I think it was the year after, BUT I've heard the entrance being an issue before. We actually took the entrance next to the main stage most of the time and got in with zero line but it's kind of hidden so that could be why everyone was log jammed into one entrance.

Last year my two favorite early day bands were Arkells and Dreamers, and the played at the EXACT damn time yeah the schedule is usually B.S. and I have no doubts they do that this year too. last year was stacked on sunday though but there were a few overlaps that were insane. they also give better artists 30m sets and boring artists an hour and force you to see hayley kiyoko and other terrible artists with no other options.

She would not shut the fuck up about her "like like my like feelings like"

Man...I wish that festival was going on in Columbus, That'd be a MUST attend! Promowest Fest?? Haven't heard a word about them bringing that back this year. The location was a cool idea but there are FAR too many apartment flanking the stage so sound was always going to be an issue and the setup wasn't even ideal from a staging perspective. I think they'd be better suited to do something smaller just using Express LIVE or maybe Mapfre Stadium. But I dunno, I really hope they bring something back at some point.

I went to one day of PW fest in in 2016. It was cool seeing Modest Mouse. The logistics of the venue were odd though, to say the least.

Andrew McMahon has Bunbury listed for June 2. just saw that! I see him list it as part of his "pen and piano tour" which he said he will get up all tell stories about songs and play some songs that dont get played as much. As much as i would love this (as im a huge fan) i dont see him doing this at a festival

Yeah I don't see any way he does this during his set at Bunbury unless he got a headlining slot.

Yeah I don't see any way he does this during his set at Bunbury unless he got a headlining slot. exactly what i was thinking. for anyone who has never seen him, he loves to get the crowd involved and do all kinds of fun things! make sure you don't miss it! He generally plays a mix of something corporate, jacks mannequin, andrew mcmahon, and andrew mcmahon in the wilderness songs

Looking at the bunbury app, i'm honestly shocked at the rankings of the artists based on number of people Blink - 1,311 Foster the people - 1,209 Polesmokers - 1,109 Post Malone - 1,094 Third Eye Blind - 996 Young the Giant - 932 Fitz and the Tantrums - 840 Incubus - 813 Jack White - 718 Manchester Orchestra - 558

I could care less for Blink 182 personally, know literally zero songs from Post Malone and haven't heard great things about Chainsmokers live but it looks like those are very popular acts....

PromoWest knows how to sell out lol. They are making more money than ever but they are pissing off the people who had a fest that was actually about music and not about getting drunk with your friends and screaming adolescent lyrics while the artist press buttons and jump around to a cool light show in the background. I wouldn't give them credit for much else than booking "viral & popular" artists. Most of these artists in about 2 years will be completely irrelevant.
