Cage the Elephant has a new album coming out very soon and would be perfect for this type of festival. I saw them in 2011 in Indianapolis when they opened for Muse and their energy level has been matched only by Foxy Shazam.

I'd like to see Fitz and the Tantrums, if they do any touring next year, also Okkervil River has a new album coming out along with Placebo.

Here is my wishlist for next year:
FIRST AND FOREMOST: solve the insane traffic jam issues that exist next to the Main Stage to get to the Bud Light stage. That issue existed last year too, although it was less pronounced as there were less peopke in attendance last year. With the higher attendance this year, it's now utterly fan-unfriendly (if not unsafe too). Tons of people have complained about it on the Bunbury facebook page. Are the organizers listening?
SECOND: please rethink the 2014 three day pass pricing. I almost fell off my chair when I checked this morning on the 2014 tickets that the 2014 three day pass starts at $130 (it started at $93 last year). That is a THIRTY-NINE PERCENT increase. WHY?
THIRD: please stay away from bands like MGMT, which at one point were good and now are a complete snooze. MGMT has been living for the last 3-4 years on their reputation of being a 'fun' band resulting from their terrific first album, when in reality they not longer are. Since that first album, they've gone "artistic" and "important". Saturday's headlining set was a bore.

Definitely could go for some Iron and Wine. I swear I never see him when I'm at a festival he is at due to schedule conflicts.

I would for sure agree on. cage the Elephant great band live. Tons of energy put them on before a headliner so it's not to hot to rock out to.

I don't want one hit wonders from three years ago (MGMT). Bring in new bands for the undercard and tried and trusted headliners for everyone.

Worth the price of a ticket just for Bowie... I think you are asking a little to Mich with arcade fire and bowie. They would be near the top of a Bonnaroo type festival. I would love to see them but asking a lot out of a little festival. If they did get them everything else would suffer from a lack of money.

Cage the Elephant would be SO SICK at Bunbury- headliner status. I can dig. How about Bad Veins, The Lone Bellow, First Aid Kit, Half Moon Run? Half Moon Run completely and utterly blew me away at Mumford's Gentlemen of the Road in Troy last summer.

I'm know that Bunbury is trying their hardest not to have any repeat bands each year. So far I think A Silent Film is the only band to play both years.
Of the bands mentioned here, that would rule out:
Foxy Shazam Red Wanting Blue A Silent Film Imagine Dragons Mowglis Atlas Genius

Not on my wishlist, but Foster the People are at lots of festivals this summer, they seem like a band that would fit in well at Bunbury. I'd rather not, but people seem to like them. Also I could see Bastille and Capital Cities. Possibly Modest Mouse or Cage The Elephant.

Also I could see Bastille and Capital Cities. Possibly Modest Mouse or Cage The Elephant. Capital Cities played Bunbury 2012 and were just here at the end of 2013, so I don't think they'd be on the bill. They put on a hell of a show at the Madison Theatre though. Check out my photos from the show hereI'm really hoping for Broken Bells, they currently don't have anything scheduled during the weekend of Bunbury and are on a lot of festivals this year. Fingers crossed!
