Anyone catch @bunburyfestival and @bunburyleaks having fun today? Apparently @bunburyleaks got a hold of the daily schedule before it was released and was threatening to release it unless @bunburyfestival gave them a three day pass. Now that the daily schedule is out, @bunburyfestival has been tweeting back "fail boat" and "we don't negotiate with idiots". It's quite funny.

The three artists I want to see the most (Matt and Kim, Kacey Musgraves, Brand New) are each a different day. This lines up perfectly for me.

How far are the main stages from each other, 5 minutes walking? Also, would the second biggest act of the day flow into the headliners time slot? The festival goes until midnight right? I would assume the headliner would start around 10:15.

Wow. Friday is stacked. I got impatient and went ahead and bought 3-day tickets for the husband and I. I should have waited and just bought for Friday, lol. I think I will go buy two 2- 1 day tickets to bring the kids on Friday. We'll have to figure out babysitting for them for the rest of the weekend, because they would be bored by Saturday's acts (they are not going to stay engaged through OCMS and Decemberists. We might not even go Sunday since the only band on our list to see that day is Manchester.

You are right, I had a hard time finding last years schedule, all i could find was Sunday and I forgot it ends earlier on sunday. so there could possibly be a little more space between, or some bands play longer, but then again this is just my own pretend schedule

Fun and MGMT went on at 10:00 (Friday and Saturday) and The National went on at 9:00 (Sunday).

Get ready folks, it's time to watch Facebook crash and burn with tears and anger.

Here's my attempt at a daily schedule. I assumed there would be no timing overlap between the two main stages, which I'm hoping will be true especially for Friday. A downside to this scheduling method would be longer wait times between acts on a single stage, which would affect the people who want to camp all day at one stage for a good position during the last act. Also, I assumed that music would start at 1:30 (gates open at 1:00 Friday/Sunday and 12:00 Saturday) and that music ends about the same time as previous years. I've been to this festival every year and did a TON of speed walking between stages. I tend to like a mix of larger and smaller acts, so I traveled between main and side stages frequently. It can take up to 10 minutes to get from one end of the festival grounds to the other, especially with crowds in between acts.

Based on those schedules...I REALLY hope VIP seating extends to both main stages. There are some major second main stage acts that I bought VIP specifically for.
