Its DRAM. He has all bunbury's hip-hop festival criteria: be a 1 hit wonder, attract kids and parents who want to be cool. Bunbury you book the worst festival in the country every year.

I happen to enjoy their festival, and find it far from the worst. But whatevs....no one is forcing you to go or care.

Then why are you on this blog, posting about the Bunbury lineup. You obviously have some vested interest or way too much free time. Bunbury has done a fine job. Your opinion is not welcome here.

I like Bunbury lineups. Lots of my favorites and tons of cool, new stuff I hadn't heard of before. That's why I bought VIP for the 2nd straight year already.

I'm good, I'll continue to post here. Thanks for the advice. Then, why bitch? I don't get it? Do you think DRAM is a festival worthy artist? Do you think DRAM will have another song besides broccoli? This festival continues to phone in lineups. I would love my city to have a decent music festival but I don't see that happening. Promowest does a very poor job on booking hip-hop. Atmosphere was great, Lil Dicky is a joke, Snoop dog was way past his prime, Big Grams was a decent booking, Ice Cube was cashing a check based off of nostalgia for NWA and Cal Scrubby is fucking wack. Now we can add DRAM/Lil Yachty to the list of bad hip-hop at Bunbury.

Shake your dicks and end this pissing contest, everyone. Music is subjective, everyone likes different stuff. If you don't like this festival, don't go, but why bother raining on people's parade when they enjoy the festival?

The argument is not valid as soon as you say that booking Snoop Dogg or Ice Cube at your festival is a bad thing. They are legends of Hip Hop whether you like them or not.
Is DRAM festival worthy? I don't know. Ask Bonnaroo. They seem to think so.
I think Bunbury could do a better job of scheduling Hip Hop bands. But not everybody has the same tastes. I'm personally hoping for Childish Gambino and Chance. You feel free to keep hoping for Gucci .

To each their own. I prefer the Indie-Rock and folk aspect, but I welcome the Hip-Hop and country bands they sprinkle in to widen the audience. I especially like their focus on local artists and business. They are developing a base for revenue and to draw attention to the city's economy. PromoWest is one of the better productions in this area. Nothin but good vibes.

Honestly, I can't answer that because I'm not familiar with his catalog, but I'll gladly welcome him and give him an honest listen just like I do with every artist I'm unfamiliar with. As others have said, music is subjective. But Snoop and Ice Cube are "past their prime" I don't care how old they are, they will always be relevant to the hip hop conversation.

I've enjoyed all of Bunbury's hip hop acts the past few years. Cincinnati has smaller hip hop based festivals that might suit you more. Your boy Gucci was still in prison when they were making the lineup, so keep wishing bud

The Snoop show was awful, it was the worst Snoop show i have ever seen, I prefer him to play his songs not verses from Katy Perry songs and an atrocious cover of "I love Rock and Roll" and for him to come to the stage on time and not have a dj for 30 minutes. I never said Ice Cube was a bad thing I just stated that he was there because of the success of the NWA movie. Bonnaroo is coming off of the worst attendance in its history and it looks like the trend will continue. I would love to see Gambino and its possible he makes a cash grab and plays every festival that he can that weekend due to his Star Wars schedule. Chance would be cool.

We should also note that someone mentioned Neon Trees, which kind of fits as well.
