I honestly dont know which to believe... I do agree that, why would a radio station employee know / tell a forum of people? But in the same right... why are we blindly believing Mike? What if they are both wrong? I hate saying it but based on last year.. that feels more likely.. I hope not though. I'm with this line of thinking. Although, since WhitneyHouston says it's pretty tight lipped, it does give me a little hope that it's fucking rad. |

EDM heads will NOT like Chainsmokers. They are basically pop which Bunbury doesn't really do. Bunbury is also smart and I doubt they go from Deadmau5, Bassnectar, Pretty Lights to Chainsmokers. Also Jack White and Chainsmokers as 2 headliners how will this sell 3 days? So polarized.

I don’t know if this will help or hurt, but from my experience radio stations “should” have at least the headliners by now. Bunbury used to email an initial line up weeks in advance so stations could prepare promotions for the festival to get them approved by promo west in time. Last I heard, they’ve become more tight lipped about the festival, only sharing headliners during a conference call and not providing physical copies of the line up to promotions teams. I USED to work for a radio station in Cincinnati, but I never revealed that any time I dropped a hint or leak (which was rarely) because promo west is VERY strict and protective of their baby and I didn’t want to jepordize the relationship by somehow outing who I worked for. I don’t know if that makes the radio source less or more trustworthy, you can decide that for yourselves. I have no sources this year tho, sorry.  . But personally I’m routing for #teammike only because I like his headliners way better, but I won’t be shocked if #teamfestivalradiogirl is correct though. |

I have 2 friends that work for promowest (specifically the LC Pavilion...and no, i will never call it Express! Live) and they said it's extremely tight lipped. Have to be in a decent management status to find out. All my friends were told was June 1,2,3 to come to Cincy to work but that's nothing new If the lineup is really good and you have a lot of faith in it you'd want it really tight lipped. That's how I would operate at least. If it was including Chainsmokers and Blink 182 I probably wouldn't be as confident in our festival and may not be so tight on who knows. Just my opinion though. |

So...Cincy people what's been playing on the radio lately? If Bunbury secretly sends them a list to "prepare" I highly doubt this is even procedure because Bunbury isn't really like radio hit bands. Doesn't make sense.

I'd be shocked if #teamfestivalradiogirl is correct on the sole basis of her headliners SUCK! and Bunbury usually doesn't suck. But hey stacked undercards and Chain/Blink headlining to apparently boost ticket sales may be okay. I'd like at least 2 good headliners though geeze.

I just cant wrap my head around Blink-182. They play a sell-out show every summer at Riverbend and aren't currently touring or at any other festival. That's why I don't believe radio lady.

If radio gal is correct I hope Bunbury sees this forum and changes their lineup IMMEDIATELY lol. I'm glad to see that others feel same way about this alleged terrible headlining trio. But it is true that undercards based on the Hive Hints this year seem solid at least.

2017 lineup was one of the best ones they've ever had. I've gone to Bunbury every year but 2012 and that was the most stacked lineup I've ever seen. WHY would they go from Muse, Bassnectar, and PL to Chainsmokers and Blink 182??.... that doesn't seem right. Their lineups have increasingly gotten better over the past two or three years.... but that is just my opinion!

I wish I had more proof to give you guys, but I’d rather not send the lineup in full, just for the safety of my friends job. I trust what I’ve even telling you guys is true, unless of course I got sent a fake.
