Ed Sheeran would be a massive get. A pretty lame one, but still way bigger than any other act this fest has gotten. I personally think Death Cab is bigger... But then again, maybe I am just completely out of touch with what HS girls listen to, these days. ha Yeah Ed Sheeran sells out arenas around the world and had one of the biggest albums of last year. I would be pretty shocked if they got him. Also disappointed for multiple reasons.

If you look at that Rock in Rio fest, Ed Sheeran is on the same stage at the same level as Sam Smith the next night. And Sam Smith is headlining Bonnaroo. I'm not saying you have to like the guy or that you should look forward to seeing him. I'm just saying, he's a very big get.
Also, Ed Sheeran has over 10 million likes on Facebook compared to less than 3 million for Sam Smith.
So if so, Great for the festival, but certainly not something I'm going to be looking forward to watching.

Too many lineup announcements came out in a row there. lol I got them a bit screwed up.

Releasing the lineup all at once would be the right move, otherwise you're going to get exactly what is happening here - people basing their attendance on one artist. I've never been totally impressed with any of the headliners but have gone all three years and gotten my money's worth.

I don't think anybody here is basing their attendance on one artist. When I say I wouldn't go because of Ed Sheeran, it doesn't mean that Ed Sheeran would keep me away. It means that he's not the draw that's going to get me there.
Anybody who says they aren't going because of one artist is crazy. It's not like they stop selling tickets when the rest of the lineup is announced.

When I saw the clue, my initial guess was Colony House. They were here at MPMF, and are touring with Knox Hamilton. They are also both at Forecastle. They would fit the musical description of Bunbury as well.

The more I think about it, the more I think that the Ed Sheeran thing is way too obvious. I'm leaning toward Beach House or Mini Mansions.

The more I think about it, the more I think that the Ed Sheeran thing is way too obvious. I'm leaning toward Beach House or Mini Mansions. I think you are thinking too hard about it. The whole point of these hints is to give people something to get excited about. Yes I know Ed Sheeran doesn't excite anybody on this board, but it's going to excite a lot of people. If their game is to throw out clues that obviously lead to popular bands and singers just to throw us off, then it's just going to disappoint a lot of people when the announcement is made. I'm pretty confident at this point that it's Ed Sheeran. But we will see. If the next clue is also a Lego picture I might be more inclined to agree with you.

The new clue, which I'm guessing somebody is going to post after me, but I'm guessing centers on the words "Bad Habit" lead me to two guesses.
1. The Offspring were literally just in the news yesterday with a brand new song and are a fit for the usual retro band.
2. The Kooks which I personally would love to see come to Bunbury.

I posted the image in the HINT#2 thread, just trying to keep each straight.

I think the key isn't the image but the words that go along with it. Which is why I am assuming Bad Habit is the clue.
HINT #2 - We can't stop giggling about the image for this one. It's a bad habit. #HiveHints

So ED SHEERAN is booked all three dates of Bunbury.. So Clue #1 is not him.

By the way, I'm not sure if you all get e-mails from Bunbury or not, but I just got one that says ticket prices are going up on February 24th. That's two days before the schedule release. Just an FYI in case any of you are holding off on purchasing.

I just can't buy a ticket without a lineup again. I did it last year and I regret it completely
