I like the 1975 but I don't understand how it would relate to the clue.

I googled and found one possible explanation
"I drink quite a lot of wine now I never used to really drink, but the bottle of wine on stage quickly became something to calm the nerves, and then part of the show. When you have a drink on stage, it changes things. I'm slightly guilty of becoming a bit of a parody of myself, but truly I don't really put it on – I am the shirtless moptop with a bottle of wine now. Put it this way: does anyone want a clean Libertines album? There's a desire for those kind of cliches and there always will be. What people want to see from our band is the personality they connected with in the first place – the personality who's slightly confused, who gets overwhelmed and overexcited."
Maybe people who know the band way better than me know about the bottle of wine.

I wouldn't take the no tour dates as a sign yet. Part of the reason for the delay in naming the lineup could be some of the acts haven't announced that they are touring yet. Iron and Wine only has one date on their schedule as well. But either one of them could announce some kind of tour in the next two and a half weeks.

As much as I would love for it to be The 1975 and see how the clue relates (Medicine is The 1975's newest song and Matty, the lead singer, is known for drinking bottles of wine on stage) the band is currently writing a new album and just finished a massive, practically non-stop tour. I can't really see them doing festivals this summer.

I can't really see them doing festivals this summer. Their album is coming out a week before Bunbury, so it makes sense they would be touring after its release. Also don't forget the black and white label on the one bottle, black and white is kind of their thing. I'm fairly certain it's the 1975, since there are 3 solid connections with them in the clue, while Catfish and the Bottlemen and Iron and Wine each only have 1, and even then it only possibly references half of their band name.

Maybe people who know the band way better than me know about the bottle of wine. Those that have seen them live will likely be familiar with it. Their lead singer drank wine fro the bottle during their entire set at LouFest last year and he even "poured one out" for their absent saxophone player.

Can we go with the 1975? Not so much for the clue but because I'd really like to see them...

I'd love for it to be The 1975, but it's not. I've seen them recently and they've said that they aren't touring until 2016 and their album doesn't come out until 2016. They just finished touring for 2 years straight and are on a break to write the new album. The hint at June wasn't about an album, it was from where they got the band name.

Yeah according to this article from January.. They will be recording this year..
"In a recent interview with Music Feeds, Healy revealed the quartet will have their next studio album out in just over twelve months time. “2016, definitely, February to April,” Healy said.
The 1975 are already thinking about the content of the record, conceptualising a more colourful affair than their monochrome debut. “We’re from Manchester, Macclesfield, and the first record was about the rain, and this second record is about not being in the rain and doing whatever the fuck you want in the sun,” Healy revealed.
“So I’m gonna do that for a year, and then we’ll come back to Australia and do some shows.”
What will the band do with the rest of 2015 then? “We’ll put a single out this year,” Healy noted, also claiming that the band will “make a record and eat well” throughout 2015."

So if we pretend it's not The 1975, then what do we have? Just Iron and Wine?

I'm going to say Catfish and The Bottlemen. The wine bottle representing "bottlemen." Also the bottles were black and white just like all their EP and album covers. CATB plays The Basement, which is owned by Promowest on February 26th, they play Bonnaroo the weekend after Bunbury and have nothing scheduled, including other festival lineups, on the weekend of Bunbury.

Yeah I had realized just a few minutes ago that it didn't make sense for the 1975 to not play any other major festivals but Bunbury this summer.
Is there anything tying Catfish and The Bottlemen to the word "medication?" That word choice seems important, as does the choice of having two wine bottles.
It might be a slight stretch, but I think an argument could be made for Hozier, as he has a song called "Cherry Wine" and the word "medication" could be referring to either his song "Sedated" or "Angel of Small Death and the Codeine Scene"
The two wine bottles support CATB, because they are the bottleMEN and have two people on their album cover, while the use of the word "medication" seems to support Hozier.
Also, have the clues become so vague and general the past few days that we've just given up on voting?

I can't see them writing a clue for CATB and only referencing bottles (no cats, fish, or men), or Iron and Wine with with only the wine. Are we sure no 1975? If not, it appears that we are drawing a blank. Cherub? Eh, maybe. I can see medication= doses, but wouldn't they show mimosa's and not what appear to be bottles of red wine? Hozier? Nope. If you have to stretch it that far, nope.

I mean we just found out the hint with a picture of a Lego house isn't for Ed Sheeran, so who knows what their clue picking strategy is. Also Hozier is now a possibility for clue #1.

Hozier is playing in Germany on June 5th. Is it possible for him to be playing Cincinnati one to two days after playing Germany? I guess so. I doubt it's very likely though.

It seems Iron and Wine was named after a dietary supplement, so that would fit with this clue.

any connection to wine with Old Crow MEDICINE Show?

There was a guess on Facebook for Reverand Peyton's Big Damn Band. They do have a song called Two Bottles of Wine. By that logic I could see it. They are playing Cincinnati on February 20th for a free performance at Shake It Records, but they are practically local and are playing in this area often, so it would fit. Seems like a bit of a lame band (because they are local and here all the time, not because they are a bad band) to use one of your hints for, but I really don't know how they are picking and choosing this stuff, so who knows?

any connection to wine with Old Crow MEDICINE Show? Love Old Crow, so it would make me happy. Their latest album was called Remedy, and they have a song on it called Firewater. They were just here last year for the other festival, so I'm not sure that they would bring them back the next year for bunbury. But I'd be happy with it.

I don't know if this has any significance, but when I reverse search the image, this is actually a stock image that has a third bottle of wine in it. Maybe they specifically removed the third bottle to show only two? And these two specifically? Maybe a duo?

Edit: it seems like there's another version of the picture somewhere on the web, as the exact picture they used seems to be the first Google image search result for "generic wine bottles"
