Walk The Moon as the top name on the lineup is pretty laughable.

Walk The Moon as the top name on the lineup is pretty laughable. I know I am in the minority, but I do not like Walk the Moon at all... its the lyrics, they are just extremely poor.

I think PWF is a solid lineup for inaugural year of a smaller festival. It will draw a large crowd with the bill, and even pull some of the crowd who might not consider it with some names like Garbage and Ryan Adams.
Also, if they are wanting this festival to draw more than the Columbus and regional crowd, they are going to have to change the name. I get the catchiness of it with their brand, but the word "promo" shouldn't be in a festival name. It sounds like a sale, and people don't want to think of "sale" when it comes to bands or lineups.

They're just a pop band with an indie labeling. I like the fact they are from Cincinnati. I liked their earlier stuff like Anna Sun and Different Colors.

Considering WTM is now playing a sold out world wide tour, I'd day they are worthy of headliner status. Their just "old news" because they're local.
