And why the hell are Matt and Kim playing completely unopposed? There's a perfect spot for someone on the river stage during their set. I wish Father John Misty was playing then. Yeah their set being unopposed makes little sense to me.

Friday night is just too loaded. I think I'm going to miss Tame Impala, Matt and Kim, and Royal Blood. I may watch Catfish and then head over and stay for Bleachers, WTM, and The Black Keys. How far is the distance from the two main stages? I looked at the map. Probably about a 10 minute walk? How can you be missing Tame Impala? There is NOBODY ELSE playing at that time (8:45 to 9:45 pm) How can you be missing Matt & Kim? There is NOBODY ELSE playing at that time (6:45 to 7:30 pm)

Only to leave at 7:15 to see Walk The Moon by 7:30? Then, I would have terrible seats for Matt and Kim and Walk The Moon. Leave Walk The Moon at 8:30 to get to Tame Impala by 8:45. Once again, bad seats for them and Black Keys.

How are they going to take the two top acts each day and put them on opposite stages with no time gap in between? Is it done this way at other festivals? If I'm paying $80 for a Sunday ticket (an increase from last year btw), I feel like I should be able to at least see all of Twenty One Pilots and Snoop's sets. I am hoping these times are tentative and they at least give like a 10 minute break, so I don't miss half of Snoop's set. If not that is kind of a rip off.

Hopefully there is a little more space between then what it says on the schedule. But most festivals always have conflicts and not enough time to run from one stage to the next.

And if we get some rain, you can definitely expect those set times to overlap.

Especially if the river stage would get flooded out again like 2 years ago.

How's everyone's personal schedules look like? Here's mine. Friday - Mikky Ekko, Father John Misty, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Bleachers, Walk The Moon, Black Keys. Saturday - I won't be coming up until around 5. Will be watching the Champions League final (huge soccer fan), Decemberists, Kacey Musgraves, Avett Brothers. Sunday - 500 Miles to Memphis, Manchester Orchestra, Shakey Graves, Brand New, Twenty One Pilots, Snoop Dogg. My friends want to see Lil' Dicky, so that may happen unfortunately lol.

There is no excuse for missing Tame Impala at this fest to be honest

There is no excuse for missing Tame Impala at this fest to be honest Unless you're going with huge WTM and Black Keys fans. WTM plays until 8:45. If you stay until the end, you won't get to Tame Impala until 9. Then, you have to leave by 9:30 to get back to Black Keys. Also, you would have awful views for both. Is it really worth it? What I want to know is why The Black Keys and Avett Brothers only get an hour and 15 minutes. The Governor's Ball, same weekend as Bunbury, has The Black Keys playing for an hour and 45 minutes. That's much better.

I don't know if there are travel restrictions that force these guys to get out quickly, if Bunbury is getting a discount for shorter sets, or since they knocked off two stages they simply don't have the time available. My hope is that since the sets are shorter, they cut out the less popular songs and only play the best ones. Sometimes these bands (like Deathcab did a couple years ago) use these festivals as a chance to play mostly new songs and bore the crowd.

There is no excuse for missing Tame Impala at this fest to be honest I've been trying to get into their stuff, they are very similar IMO to the psychedelic sound of The Flaming Lips, but it's just not clicking with me. I find the recordings to be VERY bright and harsh on the high end, almost brittle. It's exhausting to listen to, it gives me ear fatigue.

Whew I was afraid to comment in fear of someone hiring a hitman. I've tried since seeing a partial show of theirs at Bonnaroo. Just not my thing I guess.

Just don't say anything bad about my Decemberists and you'll live to see Bunbury! That is who I'm most excited for also. I hate to say this, but I'm a definite Decemberists newb, I've had countless numbers of people over the years tell me I need to listen to them, and for some reason just never got around to doing it, and I've been kicking myself in the ass ever since. They are freaking incredible. I wish I had started years ago when i was first told to.

No, no girls were involved. I did get my wife listening to them though. She's a huge fan now also.
