Been seeing many complaints about the horribly long lines to get in on Facebook. Anybody get stuck in then for a long time or still stick in them currently? Seems real bad but I'd like to get opinion from those other than people on Facebook who can overreact to things.

And apparently the ATMs are down too. Wouldn't figure promowest would mess things up this much. Hope they don't wait until next year to fix things.

OK, now apparently they are out of festival tees for the whole entire weekend possibly and of course not enough water spots as well. This is getting ridiculous it seems. Just my opinion though.

Lines were terrible everywhere I went. I like the new stage layout but the shrunken footprint was very noticeable. Not impressed with promo west and how they are handling the situations. Sealed water should be allowed. Food too at this point.

The lines were crazy. Even for VIP. It's interesting though. Go on Twitter and everyone says it was the best day of their lives. Go on Facebook and everyone says it was the worst ever.

Tough sell for sure but over an hour for pizza is unfortunate. Snacks should be allowed and I'll be bringing some tomorrow.

I was absolutely shocked when we got there at 3P and saw the line... which took us "only" 1 hour to get through. We have a friend who had a press pass who said it took them 30 min to get in, and they showed up at 1:30! Given the Enquirer article earlier in the week that said they haven't turned a profit in 3 years, I would mention how having the entrance delays costs them a lot of money. But considering the number of food vendors that ran out of food (Tom & Chee when we went there at 8PM), craft beer tents running out of beer, and merch tent running out of tee shirts, it sounds like it didn't matter. If they don't post a profit this year, you can chalk it up to poor planning & crowd management. I will give PW credit for 3 things though: 1. Pulling together a killer lineup for Friday... so at least the wait(s) was worth it 2. Not kicking Tame Impala off during their set because of rain/lightning. Elephant in the rain was one of my highlights of the night. Plus... it isn't like there was room under the bridge for everyone... so where would we have gone anyway? 3. Being proactive and opening a 3rd gate for today. Hopefully they are proactive on the water situation too. That is a big safety risk in the heat/humidity...

Sealed water up to 1 liter is allowed today! Glad they are listening to people's complaints. I'm hopeful the crowd is smaller today. Anyone have tips on the quickest food lines?

I showed up just before 130 and it took twenty minutes. But people were really starting to file in so it escalated quickly. The good: much better wristbands and lanyards for VIP. Nice memento. Bands were incredible! They added speakers and a video board on the sound booth at the main stage so the sound would be better for those in the back. The second main stage is awesome. The bad: the VIP experience went down. They advertise "additional viewing area for VIP" but the view is completely blocked by advertisements. It's a pointless grassy area now. They had lawn chairs last year you could relax in and still see the stage. No more. They also banned chairs altogether so people had no choice but to stand or sit in wet grass. Lines were ridiculous, even VIP. Cell service was non existent. The river stage was packed so you couldn't see the bands. Catfish and the Bottlemen were way too big for that stage. Should have been main stage.

I think river stage needs to be retired. I love the idea of it, but it's a logistical nightmare. That or they need to put just the smallest billed bands on it.

I agree, make it the local stage or something. I was disappointed I couldn't see Catfish because I stayed until the end of father John Mistys set. I was only able to hear it over the wall.
