Just looking for people's final reviews on bunbury this year. I'll post a detailed review later but I wanted to get this thread started.

I will have more comments on the entire event also, but I wanted to mention how impressed I was with The Front Bottoms. I was totally caught off guard with them. I love Alt Rock, but for some reason these guys slipped through my radar. If you didn't get to see the show, you missed some great story tellers and a following of people who made the live experience amazing. The crowd participation and sing along was truly remarkable. This is why I have loved Bunbury since the beginning. They have exposed a crowd many times to a new sound or emerging type of band. In my opinion, great call on these guys. Thanks Bunbury!!!

I don;t have time for a full review yet, but these are my first impressions. I mean people got mad the first day because they had to wait in line. Its the first day and everyone has to get their wristbands. People should realize this is going to be the longest wait to get in of the weekend since they don't mail out wristbands like some other festivals do. The water situation was stupid. They needed way more water filling stations/available faucets. The crowd was really demanding and pushy the second day. Almost saw a couple of fights during The Avett Brothers about people pushing through or talking really loudly during the show. Day three was actually the smoothest run day in my opinion. Still long water refill lines but other than that pretty smooth for beer and food. I think with starting with more than one entrance next year and more water fill stations it will get a lot better. Now I think they need to switch up what days they have what artist. Snoop should have been Friday to get people in party mode, Black keys Saturday and The Avett Brothers Sunday when everyone is good and worn out from the weekend. I would be surprised if they don't get in trouble for the noise on Sunday with snoop. It was super loud. I think having that on Friday would be less of an issue for the people that live nearby/along the river. Avett wouldn't be as crazy for Sunday. I also think they should sell 10,000 three day passes instead of 8,500 and spread out the genres so if you aren't necessarily a fan of say folk music there is something else to see. I think Promo west was really trying to push the single day tickets by offering 8,500 three day passes and 11,500 single day tickets per day. to me that should be switched or at least a 50/50 split.

SUCCESS! Cincinnati Festival is back on the map...While suffering through a few bumps, Bunbury delivers an excellent festival that drew record numbers. The level of talent at the festival this year rivaled that of any two previous years, so much so that stages overflowed and tough decisions had to be made. I for one was impressed by the additional main stage, added delay speakers and video board for better experience, and really nice signage on the sides/top/back of each stage. The professional look was really stepped up. My PERSONAL best sets, in order. Trigger warning: It won't necessarily be your top ten 1. The Decemberists (sorry, just love these guys so much) 2. Twenty One Pilots 3. Walk the Moon 4. The Bleachers 5. Father John Misty 6. The Black Keys 7. The Avett Brothers 8. Brand New 9. Manchester Orchestra 10. Catfish and the Bottlemen Honestly outside of #1 & #2, the next 10 bands were tied for #3. The talent was so good this year. I wish I would have gotten to see more so I could evaluate but I would have seen every set if I had a clone (or two clones). The record crowds created an exciting atmosphere. The once under-utilized Pavilion area was teeming with life all day long. Better bands drew better fans that gave artists energy and made Cincinnati look great. I was very proud to be in that crowd. I loved the food scene. From what I saw, Gold Star was the only major name there, everyone else were small food trucks. Late Night Slice, Tom + Chee, Umami, Hungry Brothers, Roll with It, Island Noodles, and Mazunte were awesome (yes, I ate ALL of that). I think people over-looked this and didn't give the festival enough credit for having awesome flavors. So what if Coors was the official beer. Is that any better/worse than Bud or Miller? The complaints would have been the same but you always need a mainstream light beer when drinking in the heat. I for one did not care for Warsteiner last year so was fine with Coors. I do agree that the craft beer section should have had more Cincy...but money talks unfortunately. The festival promoters will have to weigh whether or not local craft beer is enough of an added feature that they can take a reduced profit on licensing. I honestly don't think they will make a change since it's clear that it's the bands that bring the crowds, not the beer. RANT Let me just say this: Fuck Facebook. For some reason, people on Facebook at the WORST day of their lives at Bunbury. On Twitter, people had the best time ever! I don't understand FB - you'd think a place that lists your name and picture for all to see would encourage people to use more candor when they speak, but no. A lot of over the top complaints - that this was a 'money grab' (first year they turned a profit, this isn't a charity), that they were going to petition the city to have the permits revoked (really? with what this does for the city they are going to take this away?), and that this isn't family friendly (this isn't taste of Cincinnati or Newport, it's a serious music festival, sorry that some bands cussed and a few people smoked joints and your kids couldn't get in free). Seriously a woman posted that she was abhorred by the cursing and weed - I bet you hated the gay couples too. In terms of festival disasters, this one was far from it. Remember "Fuck Kanye?" at Bonnaroo or the riots at Woodstock '99? So they goofed on the entrance the first day - they fixed it were very sorry. I'm just glad they knew to respond. I didn't see any fights, arrests, cancelled sets, rioting, property damage, or outright price-gouging. It went extremely well! END RANT

I hadn't thought about mailing wristbands out ahead of time. They should look into that. I wonder what additional security nightmares that causes though. The water situation sounded rough, fortunately I was not impacted by that but I can definitely see the merit. It didn't seem that bad the last few years so they did goof on that.

I'm not sure why the variation between Twitter and Facebook, but the truth lies somewhere in between.
People who claim that everything was perfect and people shouldn't complain, probably wouldn't complain no matter what. People who are calling it the worst day of their lives probably shouldn't be going to music festivals to begin with.
I admit that I was wearing pretty thin on Friday due to some of the hiccups, but Promowest seemed to be doing their best to fix some of the problems. I don't understand the Promowest rule that the food vendors weren't allowed to sell water. (Going by the sign that was posted on the gellato van) That seems like something that needs to be addressed in the future.
The only other negative I have to say is that the sound on the Pavilion stage was atrocious if you got more than 30 feet from the stage.
The music was fantastic. The lineup was great. There were a couple of sets where I wish more people around me would have shut up and listened to the music. I could barely hear the first half of Old Crow Medicine show because of the people around me until I relocated to the back of the lawn, but I thought they put on a great show. I think part of that may have been the fact that they were unopposed.
I feel like I'm complaining a lot, but I really did enjoy myself. Loved Father John Misty and got to the other side just in time to hear most of the songs I like by Temples. Matt and Kim were fantastic as always. Like their music or not, they put on a Hell of a show and get the audience involved big time. Loved The Devil Makes Three, The Decemberists, and Old Crow Medicine Show. I wish I could have heard Reverend Horton Heat and Royal Blood better, but they were on that stupid Pavilion stage. The Avett Brothers put on a great show like they always did.
I didn't go Sunday, but was very happy with what I saw.

I could barely hear the first half of Old Crow Medicine show because of the people around me until I relocated to the back of the lawn, but I thought they put on a great show. On that first point, I had someone else point that out. I had two thoughts: one was blame the sound company, Loud and Clear (ironic name). I've never been impressed with their work at festivals. The are a smaller live sound company so they might not be suited for this gig if it's going to be out of their league. The second thought was given to me by a veteran festival goer who said that they have been to shows at the Pavilion before and the bands and techs complain that the bowl shape creates terrible acoustics if you aren't using the actual pavilion stage itself. And the second point: FUCKING A' SHUT UP! I can't believe the people that gab gab gab the whole time. Why are you here? VIP is notoriously bad for this. And it's always the same people: middle aged corporate types that either got comped tickets or have too much money that they don't care about the music. They just don't get it. During the Twenty One Pilots private show, a guy was explaining every lyric to the woman (his wife I assume) right behind me. It was the most annoying thing. And then just to the right a woman was reconnecting with her long-lost best friend, squealing with joy. I just haven't found a nice way to shut people up yet.

I missed the first year completely due to prior commitments, but I've attended at least one day in every year since. Aside from some issues on the first day this year, this year's fest was probably my favorite to date.
First my favorite addition for this year was the Sawyer Point Stage, which was added adjacent to the permanent Sawyer Point Pavilion Stage. However I still feel that this should become the main stage, over the currently used Yeatman's Cove Stage. The reason is simple and I've said it before, the Sawyer Point area seems much more conducive to large crowds than Yeatman's Cove. A large video screen occupied the back of the sound booth for the main stage, but since the space is too narrow views of the stage from the back of the crowd are nearly impossible.
The lineup for this year was also very good. With The Avett Brothers, Old Crow Medicine Show, and The Decemberists all playing on the second day, I knew this would be hard to top. But I really enjoyed seeing sets from Father John Misty, Bleachers, and Walk The Moon on the first day. I wasn't overly thrilled with Sunday's lineup, but I was still able to catch a great performance from Shakey Graves before leaving early due to the heat.
As I mentioned earlier there were definitely some issues on the first day, all of which were due to the large attendance, which lead to lines for nearly everything. Some friends waited an hour and a half just to get through the main gate. While I didn't face much of a wait there, our group waited over an hour and half for pizza! For the second and third day, additional entry gates were opened and I walked right through each day. Water lines were also terrible and something that needs to be addressed for next year, though it was nice they changed the policy for the second and third days to allow sealed water bottles to be brought into the festival.
I'll be honest and say that the issues on Friday were enough for me to consider making this my last Bunbury, but I was happy to see the organizers make some changes to try to fix the mistakes made. I've heard rumors of the festival possibly moving up I-71 to remote locations between Cincinnati and Columbus, which would offer more space and room for camping. But I really hope that this is not the case. I enjoy the festival where it is, even if that means there are ongoing issues to be worked through.

I was very, very happy with Bunbury this year. Probably my favorite of the 3 years I've been to.
I posted my Friday thoughts earlier, so I won't go back over them.By Saturday/Sunday, all of the logistics problems from day 1 were reasonably addressed. The only problem I saw persist was the long lines at the water refill stations, but there is only so much you can do on that one with the area of the park they had and on short-turn around.
I do think the addition of the video boards was a good and necessary touch. I didn't really need them until we got to Snoop's set late, and I could barely see the stage over the crowd from where we were. (I'm 6'4"... so this is a problem I am not used to having). If it weren't for the boards, it would have been a rough go.
The one other small thing that seemed to be better this year was the sound mix. I remember last year a lot of the bands seemed to have problems and kept signaling to the booth to make adjustments. I rarely saw/heard that this year. Although Snoop's set was LOUD.
The food selection was absolutely fantastic. There was a little bit of everything, and everything I had was delicious. I have to give special props to Umami bites. I tried almost everything on their menu and loved it all. If it were the only truck there, I still would have been happy. I thought the beer selection was OK... but nowhere near as good as last years. The quality was good, but the variety was only OK, but most of it you could find at Kroger. Half of the fun is trying stuff you haven't had, and that was hard to do this year.
Music wise, I'd have to say my top 10 was:
1. Matt & Kim 2. twenty one pilots 3. The Decemberists 4. The Avett Brothers 5. The Black Keys 6. Catfish & the Bottlemen 7. The Front Bottoms 8. Lil Dicky (I was a little concerned you'd need the you tube videos... but his live set was fantastic) 9. Tame Impala 10. Bleachers Discovery of the festival: Austin Plaine - sounded great live, and had some catchy stuff.
I was super far back for WtM (couldn't leave Matt and Kim early!), and I had a hard time getting into their set because of it. In retrospect, I wish I would have just stuck around for Royal Blood, but oh well. I missed Father John Misty because of the entry line - but I heard nothing but great things about his set all weekend.

I also wanted to point out that I had a great time. My last post seemed to point out all the negative things and that wasn't my intentions. I had a blast volunteering and at the shows. Water wasn't an issue for me either but I came prepared with a camel pack and was able to get bottles water easily because of volunteering. Music was good, crowd was good most of the time, beer choice was fine with me but I understand the lack of cincy brewing complaint. I think,of hard to put down anything but light beeri, the heat anyway. All in all a good experience compared to previous years.

Year #4 and I again had an incredible time along with the group of people I went with. I won't repeat the obvious Friday flaws but for the people on Facebook who had the most terrible time, I'm sorry to hear that. I went to hear good music and that is what I got, so unless you were hearing something different than myself I believe the main purpose of the festival was the music and that was brought top notch. I did have to deal with a group of 10-15 people who were camping out at the front of the stage for The Avett Brothers, who talked loudly, screamed when seeing friends they hadn't seen in a while, rarely ever even faced the stage and made Austin Plaine extremely hard to hear. It's all fine and dandy to want to be in the front for your favorite band, but don't ruin the shows your not interested in throughout the day for others. Annoying. Also I thought it was extremely strange that the Bunbury logo was printed backwards on every piece of marketing in the craft beer village area. It looked unprofessional. Not sure if there was a reason for this, but working in design it did not look good. Obviously this isn't a huge deal at all in the grand scheme of the festival, but a small attention to details. It's Tuesday now and I'm still exhausted from the weekend, I consider that a win in my book. The Decemberists were amazing. FJM was so entertaining. I'm disappointing in not getting to actually see Catfish ATBM, my wife and friends said they were awesome also, only got to hear from the top of the steps, wish they had played at the Pavilion Stage. Great to see Manchester Orchestra again. Caught some great artists that I didn't know very well especially Graceful Closure. I won't go through listing all the bands, but I thought it was a wonderful experience again. I really hope the rumors of moving the festival are not true. I think the city and river is a perfect backdrop for the festival. Thank god I'm skipping Bonnaroo this year, I can't imagine my body would be ready to leave tomorrow night! Glad to hear others positive reviews after everything I read Friday night. Can't wait for next year.

I don't really have a detailed review but here are my favorite acts and other thoughts.
I was lucky to only have hear about the long lines to get in Friday. I got in early enough where I didn't wait long to get in. I'd say the VIP ticket was worth it. I've gone 3 years now but first time I've gotten a VIP pass. I think as long as my money situation is good and the lineup is strong I'll likely be getting VIP from now on. Some improvements could be made like the viewing area for the sawyer point stage could have been bigger and maybe they could've sold a little less vip even if it meant that they were more expensive. I don't know how it compared to previous year but I liked it. Less worry about getting good seats for big acts except for the river stage as people have mentioned already. Only other things overall I would suggest would add a couple more acts and more water stations. Friday and Saturday could've used 1 more and sunday could've used 2 more. Not sure why they had the gap on sunday where no one was playing. I kinda liked the 6 stages before but for the most part the 4 stage setup worked well. Just don't put too big acts on the river stage.
My favorite acts each day would be:
Friday: Kid Runner, Bleachers, Matt & Kim, and Walk The Moon Saturday: Genevieve, Lindsey Sterling, and Reverend Horton Heat Sunday: The Front Bottoms, Buggs Tha Rocka, Revered Peyton's Big Damn Band, Atmosphere, Twenty One Pilots, and Snoop Dogg
As you can see sunday was my favorite day. I'm glad rap is finally at bunbury personally. I wasn't really disappointed in any of the acts I saw. One of the acts playing always seemed to be something I liked. Overall I really enjoyed myself.
Also if anyone cares, I took some pics: www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10102516526787155.1073741830.21410168&type=1&l=09d2dfb2f8

Since most of the main pros and cons of the festival have already been mentioned in this thread, I'm going to review my personal experience day-by-day. I've attended Bunbury all 4 years, but this is the first year I attended all 3 days. Friday: Showed up a little later than I wanted to and had to wait in line longer than anticipated, so I missed Wussy, who I really wanted to see live. Ended up staying at the Sawyer Point side to see Markham instead. Markham - First time I've heard anything from this band, and I thought they were pretty decent. Not much for stage performance, but they had a catchy/unique classic-rock style of music. Relatives of one of the band members stood in front of me and it was entertaining to see how excited they were, jumping up and down and screaming their heads off. Indigo Wild - Listened to these guys before on Spotify, and they put on a great live show. Good mix of fast and mellow sounds. My sister-in-law and her friend met them after the show at the meet and greet by the merch tent. The band was very happy to meet them and they got their picture taken together. Kid Runner - I was excited to see this band live based on the music I've already heard and they didn't disappointment. These guys have a good chance at making it big someday. Hopefully their friends Indigo Wild will join them. Father John Misty - Watched him from a distance behind the sound booth so I could get a head start to the River Stage for Catfish and the Bottlemen. He did a good show, about what I expected. I enjoyed his proposal of the new name for Bunbury to make it sound cooler (Blimber-Script, or something like that…). Catfish and the Bottlemen - I was able to land a seated spot for this show, and I'm happy I did. This stage was packed. I think it was the most packed I ever seen the River Stage, more so than when Foxy Shazam played there last year. One of the best performances of the weekend, but they started late and ended early for what I already thought was going to be a short set at 45 minutes. Bleachers - Watched from a distance to get a head start towards Matt and Kim. Another good show from what I saw, and the crowd was really getting into it. Matt and Kim - Oh my goodness, this show was intense. I have heard many good things about this live show, and they absolutely delivered. Kim is a beast on the drums and was phenomenal at getting the crowd fired up. Loved the music and really loved the show. Royal Blood - I was glad to hear some heavier rock. Smaller crowd for this show due to Walk the Moon playing at the same time, but still had a great time watching this show. Decided to skip WtM this time since I already saw them play twice within the last two years, and was able to get a decent spot for Tame Impala. Tame Impala - Very great performance from these guys. Then the downpour of rain started and things became unreal as they kept playing, busting out their biggest hits "Elephant" and "Feels Like We Only Go Backwards" before breaking one of their keyboards and having to end their set early. It was one of those moments when you kind of wanted to leave due to the heavy rain/wind, but you couldn't walk away because it was a freaking Tame Impala show. Best specific experience of the entire weekend. Black Keys - Solid show, watched from a distance. Glad these Ohio boys made a long overdue stop at Bunbury. Definitely the most exciting headliner for me since 2012 when Weezer performed. Saturday: Arrived earlier than Friday so that I could snag a front row spot at the Yeatman's Cove stage for Lindsey Stirling, who I was most excited to see that day. Zach Longoria Project - Thought this group was alright. Happy that Bunbury snagged this Louisville group away from Forecastle. Austin Plaine - This guy put on a surprisingly great performance for an early act. Kept me pretty entertained and I momentarily forgot that I was camping out to see Lindsey. Genevieve - Wasn't too excited about her material going into this show, but her upbeat personality and free spirit were refreshing to see. Lindsey Stirling - Words are very difficult to describe seeing this performance from the front row. She knocked it out of the park, and the camping in one spot for 4 hours was way more than worth it. The violin/dancing combination is purely fascinating to witness up close. The Decemberists - Caught the second half of this show from a distance, and they were great. Played a good mix from their new album and some older stuff. A good portion of the crowd wasn't really paying too much attention to the show, which was unfortunate. Kacey Musgraves - I'm not the biggest country music fan, but there's something about her musical style that intrigues me. It's not the typical pop country you hear a lot on the radio. Kind of hard to explain, but she did a decent show. I appreciated the attempt at TLC's "No Scrubs", but I don't think she pulled it off quite right even with the country theme. The Avett Brothers - This was the biggest surprise for me for the whole weekend. I was expecting something much more low key and mellow. These guys just tore it up and the crowd reaction was booming. Even their slower/softer songs sounded much more intense /lively when watching them perform on stage. Sunday: The lowest key day for me. I basically just caught the Front Bottoms performance, then waited around Sawyer Point for Twenty One Pilots. Front Bottoms - I was a fan of these guys for a while and knew quite a few songs from them. I knew almost every song they played and it was fun to sing along with these guys and the other crowd members who knew their stuff. Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band - Caught the first couple songs from these guys on the River Stage before heading to Sawyer Point. Very unique sound and show, especially with the washboard player. Buggs Tha Rocka - I thought the local rapper put on a solid show and got the crowd really into it. I'm one of the happy ones to see rap making a good appearance at Bunbury this year. Jessica Hernandez and the Deltas - I was front and center for this one at the Pavilion Stage. Catchy music and lots of intense facial expressions from Jessica that made for an entertaining show. Lil Dicky - I kind of knew what I was getting myself into by staying for this show, but he still managed to catch myself and many others off-guard when he brought the girl on stage for the "Lemme Freak" lap dance performance and he pulled off his pants for the second verse, leaving him in only boxers and the unbuttoned jersey. Memorable show, but I'm still not the biggest fan of him overall. Atmosphere - I was really looking forward to this one, but there was something about his demeanor that was off-putting. He tried to get the crowd into it, but kept saying things like "You probably don't know who I am", "I'm not really that good", "You're here to see other bands", etc. It's probably true that most of the people there wanted to see Twenty One Pilots instead, but he didn't need to be that expressive about it. Alex Angelo - This was some DJ kid that was added at the last second to bridge the gap between Atmosphere and 21P. Heard him from a distance since he played on the smaller Pavilion stage while I camped for 21P at the main Sawyer Point stage. He sounded ok for a DJ. Not much else to say about this one. Twenty One Pilots - Third time seeing them live, and thought they were great overall. They started about 10 minutes late, so they only played roughly 50 minutes. I wished they would have played more older stuff since over half of their set was from their newest album. It was pretty cool that they shot their music video for "Lane Boy" during the show. If you happen to watch that, I'll be the guy holding up the black Purdue baseball cap towards the end . I left early after 21P and didn't see Snoop since I had to work early the next day. Overall, I had a fabulous weekend and can't wait for next year. Hope the festival stays at Sawyer Point/Yeatman's Cove. Moving it to an open field would take away from the original charm and make it seem like too many other festivals.

I've been to all 4 Bunburys, and it's hard to describe the galactic changes we witnessed this year as compared to the previous years. Several random thoughts and observations:
1. It was always clear to me that the attendance claims by original festival owner Bill Donabedian in previous years were outright laughable (way, way inflated). Now we know what it really feels like to have an average of 8,500 in attendance (past years) versus this year's 20,000 (on Friday) and close to it (on Saturday and Sunday).
2. Given the amount of people in attendance, they need to at least DOUBLE the number of food stands and beer stands. Plus we need a lot more variety at the Craft Beer Village or whatever it's called. Only one Cincinnati craft beer (Moerlein)? With the rich craft beer tradition that we now have here, that's just not acceptable.
3. Despite the slight panic on Friday (I was in line for such a long time--over an hour--that at one point it looked like I was going to miss Temples), by all means Friday was freakin' fantastic from a musical perspective. So many great bands that I saw (Temples, Tame Impala, WTM, Father John Misty, Matt & Kim, etc.), and other great bands that I simply didn't have a chance to see due to scheduling conflicts (Royal Blood most of all). This to me felt like the festival I always dreamed Bunbury would become from a musical scheduling perspectives. Friday was nothing short of epic.
4. In contrast, Saturday and Sunday, with the heavy emphasis on country/Americana and hip-hop/rap, respectively, was much less exciting. In particular Sunday was a complete downer, with on top of that so few bands playing. Why they couldn't fill up the schedule with some more bands, I truly do not understand. If it's a matter of money, a number of great local bands from Cincinnati would've been happy to play for next-to-nothing. To have NOT A SINGLE BAND playing after Twenty One Pilots and before Snoop Dogg is simply INEXCUSABLE.
5. The River Stage was criminally under-used. It has the most iconic views (the river, the boats, the bridges), and somehow it was used for only 3 sets a day, for a total of about 2 hours of music per day. Really? For shame!
6. Others have made this comment, and I couldn't agree more: of the two big stages, the new Sawyer Point Stage is BY FAR the better for providing decent view lines to massive crowds. If this is so obvious to us, why isn't this obvious to the organizers? The area surrounding Yeatman's Stage is way too narrow to allow decent views.
7 In the past, I bought the 3 day pass for next year's festival as I walked out on the last evening of the festival. I essentially gave Donabedian $100 and hoped he'd do something good with it. Am I the only one noticing that this option was markedly absent this year?
8. I was struck how many people were sporting out-of-town Ts and jerseys, in particular from Cleveland and Columbus. It proves that Bunbury attracts tons of out-of-towners. What a great thing for our city.
9. Last but not least, I have serious concerns about PromoWest moving the festival to Summit Park in Blue Ash (as they already have done with Buckle Up for next year). If that is the case, I don't know that I'm going. Let me explain: I actually live in Blue Ash and have gone to their July 4 free concerts for years. Since they've developed Summit Park, these shows are now there. It's a absolute pain, even for me, who lives close by. I basically have to drive from my house to UC Blue Ash (Raymond Walters), take a shuttle from there to Summit, and then walk quite a ways to get to the stage. On top of the logistics, Summit Park has zero personality, NONE whatsoever. It is your basic suburban "corporate" park that can pack'em in by the tens of thousands. Is this really what we want Bunbury to become?
On another message board, there was mention of this Twitter exchange:
@mstuart142 @bdonabedian @bunburyfestival Thanks for bringing this to us. #keepbunburyontheriver
Reply @bdonabedian @mstuart142 wish the top brass at the city and parks department felt the same way.
That makes it sound like Donabedian is blaming the city, but I have to say I'm skeptical of that implication.
Do you really think that Cincinnati wants to lose an event like this to Blue Ash? Not in a million years. This is EXACTLY what Cincinnati wants: an event in downtown, which attracts both numerous out-of-towners (who fill up downtown hotels) AND numerous suburbanites.
If the festival moves to Blue Ash, which hotels do you think the out-of-towners will be booking?
Is Donabedian simply laying the groundwork for the inevitable? and "blaming" the city is nothing more than a convenient smoke screen?

Euro60...good review. You're right. This festival is moving. Bill's other tweets make me think it's a foregone conclusion:
I can only assume the statement he was responding to was about not moving to Blue Ash.
And I guess the person further pleaded that it's bad for the city. The person blocked their tweets for some reason so I'm not sure what the exact questions were.
I think your observation that they didn't sell tickets for next year was another damning clue. Can't sell tickets to a festival that they don't know the location to yet.
Sad.

The front bottoms are awesome. have been following them for a couple years now when I saw them open for Manchester. They are playing at bogarts very soon, I think. Kevin Devine too who is really good
