It may be a little early to speculate on the 2016 Bunbury lineup, but the first possible gauge for who might be around the festival scene next year came out today. Firefly is in Dover Delaware and is the week after Bunbury. Last year's Firefly lineup was pretty different than Bunbury. Only about four crossovers unless I missed one or two. But hey, it's the first thing we've had to start looking at. Sadly, Firefly isn't super interesting this year. I could see Florence and The Machine as a possible Bunbury headliner and that would be pretty cool. I'd love to see Trombone Shorty play Bunbury. Nathaniel Rateliff would be fun. Elle King would be fun. She grew up in Eastern Ohio. I would think either Bunbury or Nelsonville would be a natural for her this year. There's several bands in there that I'd be fine with seeing if I was already at a festival looking for bands to hear. But there is very little that would get me excited to go the the festival. I'm glad this isn't the Bunbury lineup. A few crossovers would be okay though. consequenceofsound.net/2015/11/firefly-music-festival-reveals-2016-lineup/
