I don't think there is a chance in hell they would tout "huge news" and then just have the schedule drop. That would be one of the biggest bait and switches ever. and if you are looking for a late push in tickets you certainly wouldn't want to do that to people on the fence.

Right..and the addition of some smaller local bands isn't huge either. Huge is when they got Cage the Elephant added to the list in 2014. Schedules, official map, bracelets shipping - all akin to announcing who the official beer is and where you can get your parking spots pre-ordered. Maybe they'll announce some guests that will be playing with Ice Cube to try and move the needle on Saturday sales.

I would guess the NWA reunion type thing that happened at Coachella would be the most likely candidate to be the news. But maybe there will be more additions as well. They definitely have my interest.

I would think that'd be more of a "surprise" thing since it doesn't seem like they are actually touring together. I saw that as kind of a one-off thing for Coachella in particular. I could be wrong though who knows.

Honestly, I see some additions like Miike Snow or Purity Ring or Trampled by Turtles that are already playing PW venues around the Bunbury date.

I could also see them doing another headliner and doing a double book (I think someone earlier mentioned this) with PromoWest Festival since it's over a month later since they need to replace Walk the Moon since they cancelled all of their summer dates.

Right? It's gotta be something on that level. I can't imagine anything else being "uuuuuuuuuuuuuge news".

NWA reunion is huge to me. But maybe it is the third headliner we've been speculating on for months. And now I'm back to looking at tour schedules for potential headliners. I thought we were done with this part LOL.

Lol I know. I accepted Ice Cube as a headliner, and now I'm getting all excited for possibly someone new again. I'm gonna go ahead and guess it is Lenny. Again, just a guess, but that's what I'm going with. Also, with only 12 bands Sunday, are we expecting anymore to be announced?

My gf went last year but I didn't. Is the amount of bands that much different from last year? I'm not sure what the usual amount is.

I wonder if pricing is played into that if they don't traditionally have late additions of undercard acts like some bigger festivals do.

I'm just going to start throwing out other headliners for festivals that have openings for Bunbury (on Saturday only since that is the light day) and PWF. Some would be considered headliners for PWF and second tier for Bunbury. These are totally random too.
- Arcade Fire - Guns n Roses - My Morning Jacket - Radiohead - moe. - Young the Giant - Death Cab for Cutie - Ludacris - The Weeknd - Two Door Cinema Club (just announced at Express Live 6/14)

Wasn't MMJ just there not long ago or am I mistaken? I don't think Luda, Deathcab (maybe them), YtG or Moe are big enough to be the "huge" news. Two Door falls in the undercard category for me. Arcade Fire and Radiohead would hell of gets but I feel like those are quite the long shots. I remember back in the winter people were talking about The Weeknd for other festivals on a different board and apparently he is asking for Paul McCartney type money for shows and he may have signed an exclusive deal with Hangout, which is why he isn't on other festivals. ......that was all really negative....I'm sorry, screw it I'll take anyone.

Would anyone be mad if it was just like a lot of really solid undercard acts? Because I have a list of like 4 that I was hoping that would be on it that weren't and they are open that weekend. maybe "uuuuuuuuuge" means "lots" and not "big"

I have been really struggling to enjoy X Ambassadors, The Neighbourhood, and Elle King so someone else would be perfect for me.

Ya know, I do like Elle King's stuff but I feel the same about X Ambassadors for sure. I want to like them and just can't seem to. I'm still 50/50 on The Neighbourhood.

I was a fan of Neighbourhood before Bunbury, and I like X Ambassadors enough. I wouldn't be mad about a handful of solid undercards. There are bands I was hoping for that weren't listed, but available that weekend too.

I'm going with Death Cab. They are playing Sunday at GovBall and open both Bunbury and PWF weekends. They could easily be a headliner for PWF.

I don't know that they would be considered "uuuuuuuge" by some but seeing a 7 minute intro into "I Will Possess Your Heart" is very high up on my bucket list!

They were a headliner in 2012, so I could see their return as huge news. I can't say the same for adding a few undercards. I'm sticking with Arcade Fire because they're doing a couple festivals this summer and a man can dream.

Are Arcade Fire playing too many shows or do they have new music? I would love it but just trying to see how logical it could possibly be at this point.

I'd be thrilled with Sunflower Bean being added. The new album is killer. They have a big break in their schedule with nothing that weekend. They're playing 6/11 in Louisville before heading to Bonnaroo
