The movie is "They Live" The actor is Rowdy Roddy Piper. And the scene has the iconic line "I've come hear to chew bubblegum and kick ass and I'm all out of bubblegum"
I've got nothing yet, so hopefully one of these items jumps out at somebody here.

J Roddy Walston would be my best guess as well.

I think J. Roddy is a good guess. They have another Promowest venue listed on their tour page later in the year.

Roddy Piper's character in this movie was Nada. Could potentially be Nada Surf.

That's so obvious I feel dumb for not thinking it. I think J Roddy is it.

Roddy Piper's character in this movie was Nada. Could potentially be Nada Surf. I think it's probably J Roddy, but to your point Nada Surf is playing some American dates in May and June. They play June 3 in Toronto and June 4 in Boston. They could potentially play Sunday at Bunbury. It's not out of the question.

Maybe it could be the killers? The last hive hint didn't really have anything to do with Mr. Rogers.

Maybe it could be the killers? The last hive hint didn't really have anything to do with Mr. Rogers. He did have a sweater on, with the sky in the background. So "Sweater Weather" made sense. I would love The Killers, but don't think they'd do a headliner just yet.

Some people on Facebook are guessing M83. They just announced they are playing in Columbus on June 3rd. Even if that is not what this hint is referring to, I would say there is a pretty good chance they will be at Bunbury.

It's possible, but if they are playing Columbus on Friday and then flying East on Saturday, I don't know what the odds are that they will fly back to Cincinnati on Sunday.

At the risk of sounding ignorant, how does this hint connect to M83?

For what it's worth, if you are trying to work backwards from their process of deciding what to use for a clue. If you google image search "Rowdy Roddy Piper" the very first image up in the top left hand corner is the image they used for the hint. I'm sticking with J Roddy Walston for this clue. That's not to say M83 couldn't also be playing.

At the risk of sounding ignorant, how does this hint connect to M83? An M83 is a machine gun that at least resembles the gun he's holding in the picture. I don't know enough about guns to know what exactly he is using.

It also looks like they are playing Bogarts on the 7th. With that being said, I am back to J Roddy. This excites me more than M83 anyways. J Roddy on the river stage a couple years ago was awesome.

It seems like M83 might be reaching a little too far with this one.

Though he's clearly holding a shotgun in the photo now that I look at it again. I do know that much about guns. lol

I'd love to see J Roddy again.
My only uncertainty is that I don't think they've released any new music since they played at Bunbury 2 years ago. Anyone know if they have a new album coming out soon?

Wonder why nobody guessed The Rifles? Which would make me very excited if that was the answer.
