This is disappointing. 5 free drinks for VIP...looks like they're going all out this year...

This is disappointing. 5 free drinks for VIP...looks like they're going all out this year... Why disappointing? Last year there weren't any free drinks, per se. There was an hour on limited selection drinks and you could only get so many at a time (they take the lids off....etc) and the line was long. This seems like an improvement. |

Ugh, I just can't decide. I really want vip, but this lineup is not nearly as good (for me) as last year.

I've never been to the Taft ballroom (was going to go last year to see Pete Yorn, but it didn't work out.) Is it a fun venue? Will I be able to see if I'm towards the back? IDK, inside venues have never been good to me. |

Great festival again. Man, it's been awhile since I rocked out so much.
Bunch of great sets. One of the surprising bands of the weekend was a band called Virginia Man. Very good.
Jeremy Pinnel was so good. Mandolin Orange, The ghost of Paul Revere, Daniel in stereo were all very good. Of course the new pornographers were awesome.
William Whitmore Elliott and Charly Bliss were great too.
Interesting venue change. All indoors, lots of moving around to different stages, but it was fun and the sound was pretty good.
