Looking forward to year 2. Olivia and Connie got their journalism career started last year at Bunbury when the two - at the time, 11-year-olds - had the chance to interview Neon Trees, Imagine Dragons, Minus the Bear, Madi Diaz, Quiet Corral, Ume, Bo and the Locomotive, and A Silent Film. Truth be told, our early efforts were filled with some rookie issues, like the Neon Trees interview was done while Now Now was playing and the music is almost louder than the guys in the interview. Same thing with Imagine Dragons who were competing with Jukebox the Ghost. We launched KidsInterviewBands.com in August 2012 and, as of yesterday, the girls have done ... drum roll, please ... 100 interviews. They had the chance to interview Ellie Goulding last night before she opened for Bruno Mars in Columbus (which is where we live). We've been hard at work setting up interviews with artists playing this year so keep your eyes open for the girls - we've got 12 confirmed interviews over the 3 days and, if it's anything like last year, I'm pretty sure the girls will approach bands after their sets to do even more interviews. -Chip (Olivia's dad) www.kidsinterviewbands.com

So where about is everyone from and what would you consider three of your top bands?
Eastgate / Amelia area here.
Pearl Jam Violent Femmes A Silent Film
And a few extras just for fun across genres... Metallica (even after the "sell out"), Old school Rancid, Reel Big Fish, Lionel Richie, DCFC, Damien Rice, and I am a big fan of anything 80s (from hair to new wave)

I will play. I'm from right here on the west side of Cincinnati. Pretty close to downtown Cincy.
If I had to pick my three favorite bands of all time, they would probably be REM, Cake, and a more recent addition to the pantheon, Frank Turner.
Some other faves, Talking Heads, Pearl Jam, Beastie Boys, They Might Be Giants, Violent Femmes, The Old 97's... More recent... Josh Ritter, Frightened Rabbit, Blind Pilot, Langhorne Slim... I could go on and on and on.... And I know I'm probably forgetting somebody obvious that I will be pissed at myself for later.

Have you heard the free live album they just put out of the album Flood? Really good!

I know some members have been asking to restrict posts from guests. At this time, guests will not be able to make posts, but come Hive Hint, and lineup release time, we will again allow guests to make guesses on the hints and/or discuss the lineup. If there becomes an issue with guests trolling, we will again restrict, or ban IP addresses. Thanks! #beeheard
