God. Gimme Killers or Red Hot Chili Peppers. Pls.
Please not FOB. They're garbage now. But I guess that would sort of maybe slide in with Chainsmokers from last year?

Looks like an arcade game - Arcade Fire? (just spitballing I know it's thin and they have no tour dates for 2019 as of current)

The Knocks are an electronic duo and they're touring throughout late winter. One fest booked already this year, M3F fest in Phoenix.

The green gloves could also be another nod to The National.

I came to three thoughts when trying to figure this hint out:
1. Weezer - Can't Knock the Hustle (open tour dates from mid-April until mid-June, just released a covers album and appear to be releasing another album soon)
2. Walk the Moon - Work this Body ("beat you fair and square", performing at several music festivals this summer, free as of now the weekend of Bunbury, love performing in Cincinnati)
3. Fall Out Boy - Sugar, We're Goin Down; Champion (no tour dates that weekend nor summer as of now, could be a five year reunion for them as headliners)

They are playing both Columbus and Pittsburgh on this tour (both PW venues) but no Cinci. They are awesome. I'm changing my pick to them.

Lead singer had some sexual assault accusations if I remember correctly. They haven’t performed since than. They announced their breakup last year.

The Killers - Tyson vs Douglas It'd be surprising for them to drop in a headliner but I'd support this. They were awesome a few years ago. I think it's a longshot they'd be back already but I don't think a lot of people would have an issue with them coming back. I agree. I said the same thing. Seems too soon for them to be in the lineup again, but i'd be totally ok with it.

My vote's on The National, though I do think it's strange that they'd drop a headliner hint in these... who knows. It makes the most sense though.

wasn't the Homecoming festival curated by The National and they said there were going to be more in future years. I don't see them playing Bunbury if they are still trying to be competitor

Don't want to be a Debby Downer, but Mac Demarco is supposed to be in Europe the weekend of Bunbury and will unlikely fly to Cincy for one night then fly back to Europe

He doesn't play the rest of the weekend. His next tour date after that Thursday is at Bonnaroo. If he played Sunday he'd have two whole days in between. I'm not sure it's him but it's definitely a possibility.

If FOB is the "bonus" headliner because of the extra blink-182 money, that's fine... but I'd hope for a non-rap headliner. FOB's a headliner for sure, right? I'd be bummed to see Fall Out Boy, Vampire Weekend, and [insert rap headliner] ... but if the undercard's good enough, I'd get over it.

So most of Bunbury's hints are releases of songs/albums that are fairly recent...though FOB is my favorite band, I'm still unsure if they're the hint or not since Sugar' We're Goin Down was released over 10 years ago, but the hint could reference their song Champion. I personally voted for Weezer, but I could still see FOB or the Knocks being the hint

My immediate thought was LL Cool J because the video game is from the 80's/90's and "Knock You Out". I'm pretty sure LL started in the same time frame.

I'd love to see Fall Out Boy and Blink on the same lineup but I doubt FOB is a possibility. They did some festivals this year because they were touring on their latest album MANIA and they wrapped up that album cycle in October. I can't see them getting on the road for anything without something to promote.
