I was really hoping for Florence or even get CHVRCHES. Florence at Gov Ball could have made it so easy to be here for PW and this line up a little bit easier to handle.

Was so shocked by the lack of women on this lineup, I thought that was going to be one of their main points of focus this year.

There were PLENTY of options... Florence and the Machine, Alanis Morrisette, Kacey Musgraves, Halsey, Bebe Rhexa, Allison Wonderland, Churches, In This Moment, SZA, and Cardi B just to name a few off the top of my head.
They really dropped the ball on this one. ;(

Not including streetlight manifesto since they have an amazing ability not to have pictures of themselves a quick look seems to have 52 out of first 53 people from top down at bunburyfestival.com/lineup-2019 are white males |

I did a comparison in another thread and thought I'd drop it here too.
Forecastle has a total of 22 female or mixed female/male acts for 40% of the overall lineup. Bunbury has 7 for 17.5%. Top female act at Forecastle is the #5 slot. Bunbury is #18.
Really, really disappointing especially compared to a nearby festival. Its clear they could have done so much better.

Are you blind or just stupid? How so? I've been called both. From top down, bands that include non-white or non-males: 1. Run The Jewels 2. The Aces 3. Poppy 4. Flora Cash 5. Lauren Sanderson 6. SHAED 7. Common Kings 8. bulow 9. Taylor Janzen 10. Triibe Not saying it's a lot, but not sure where you got your 52 of 53 (especially since there are 40 bands listed.) |

Not that I really care to get involved in this argument, but the person who said 52 of 53 is counting every member of every band.
