Quick update: It's been 8 days since my source told me they were gonna stay quiet after something is going on at Promowest right now. I messaged my source again last night and still haven't gotten a response on anything. They were supposed to be with my group when we watched the jackets game last night but they had to work late. Working late is unusual for them, so I still hold tight to thinking there's been a lineup change they're working on settling. Yikes! Sounds like it's kind of messy over there. I'm just hoping in the next few days some angel swoops down from Promowest heaven to tell me I'm wrong about MCR being booked and dropping out. I know losing Billie Eilish would be a huge blow for them, she's hard to replace especially if they want to keep a woman on the top line, but I'd really really love to see MCR there and at this point I'm not expecting to. |

I’m just nervous as hell we’re going to see zero rock on the top two lines. I’ll be very tempted to scalp my VIP ticket and cancel my BnB if so. If it's anything like the past few years, we should get a pretty strong tip about 1-2 days before the official announcement. If it's anything like the past few years, we should get a pretty strong tip about 1-2 days before the official announcement. That put's us at about 6 days until we have a pretty solid grasp on what we have. Two bands I’d really like to see on the undercard card are White reaper and Brkn love. I think they are definitely a fit for the fest. White reaper was here several years ago but would love to see them back

Their single is being played CONSTANTLY on every alternative station and I actually haven't tired of it yet. Would love to see them, but hopefully they wouldn't stick them on the River stage. |

White Reaper is playing The Southgate House on March 27th. Since they are local(ish) that might not matter and they certainly could play Bunbury. But they are coming to town. I saw them at Forecastle a couple years ago. They are really good. |

I hope I'm pleasantly surprised. Same. Between the 2019 debacle, and the odd feel of this year, my enthusiasm for Bunbury is not what it used to be. I'm expecting to go to Wonderstruck at this point. That being said, I still hope the lineup blows me away, and I buy VIP a week from tonight. |

I never really get "goldmine" level information, but I do get some behind the scenes stuff which I think people around here enjoy hearing about. It's just weird that it was cut off HARD a few days ago and that Steve experienced the same vibe. I dont know what is going on, but it's gotta be something major. I haven't had this happen in the 3 years I've been on this forum. Even both years where blink backed out last minute and there was a mad scramble to replace them I still was getting info from my source. |

Well, best case scenario, the leaks dried up simply because the information given to us was accurate,a nd they're trying to do damage control. If they actually did spend 4 times the amount they did last year, we can expect something good. We also have reason to be optimistic due to the lineups of Gov Ball and Wonderstruck. There are some great bands on those lineups that we know will be nearby-ish that weekend. I'm hoping there's a great undercard, more like 2018 than last year. I would have gone last year if the undercard was like 2018, but it was just...weird.
