After getting a better understanding of the history of Bunbury through you all and the indie backgrounds, I feel like the perfect EDM act; should there be one, would be Porter Robinson, honestly. He is so different and melodic, he really does hone his craft. As I get older I’ve been weaning off EDM and back to Alt/Indie, but he is a very good artist I would highly recommend. Couldn't agree more...I've always wanted him to make a stop at Bunbury, either as himself or Virtual Self.

Lol that’s why I think Mello is too much for Bunbury, he won’t catch the vibe

As far as EDM, I've seen Zedd on a few festival bills.

Porter Robinson I keep coming across this name on the interwebz lately. I'll need to listen soon If I'm recommending an electronic act to some people who are indie fans my go to is typically Porter Robinson as a starting point. Particularly Sad Machine it's a cool song

They need to get Griffyn and his live show and have that be the EDM. Very mainstream sounding songs and still really awesome experience and he plays the instruments so it isn't like just standing behind a booth. Also probably cheaper than all of the other options thrown out there.

You guys probably think I'm crazy, but every year I sign up for the newsletters for all the bands that "could" be at bunbury just to track shit like this. I had a few marshmello newsletters at the ready to compare to whatever the troll said he had. I got your back when it comes to fakes guys

I can't imagine the EDM crowd would be too happy with Fatboy Slim representing them. However, I would love to see Fatboy Slim and I'm not into EDM at all.

Whatever EDM act comes, I hope it's something like Griz where they actually play instruments. Never heard of him before, and I loved the Griz set!

If enough of us are into the lineup we should do the Band-A-Day thing they do on inforoo. Essentially we start a subfolder and each day someone picks a band to write a thread about where they talk about the act, their history, discography, and live shows. It'd be a fun way to get into the lineup

I saw Justice at ACL in 2018 and it was one of the best live sets I've ever seen. I am not an EDM guy at all.

Ok, I’m not a troll - long time follower and bunbury goer from year 1. In fact, the BLF was my friends and my brain child. I was recently told by another bunbury goer who’s sons best friend is at Promo West that the line up is 21 Pilots, Avett Brothers and Marshmello. This info was given to me last week and I’ve never received info from this source before so I’ve just been sitting back and waiting to see if the other sources confirmed it. Given today’s conversation I thought I’d share what I knew.

Just got confirmation from an insider that my boy Post Malone is going to be headlining one day. This with Lizzo will move crazy tickets along with Marshmello a superstar in the edm scene with one of the most loyal fanbases around. Add in the mix Vampire Weekend who sold out riverbend in a few hours then add in legends The Smashing Pumpkins for the old timer boomers ohh and how about Big Boi, COIN, The Struts, Yungblood, Blackbear, Neon Trees, Carlie Rae, Dinosaur Pile Up, Tribe, Ludacris, among many others

I could definitely see Lizzo as she hasn't played any Ohio shows except for the radio station show at Express Live last August, and that wasn't even her tour show. I drove to Indy to see her in December. But those are the closest shows she's had to anything in Ohio. This could definitely be the artist mentioned as "first time" in Cincinnati. LIZZO's first Ohio show was a KISS 107.1 show. In fact it was the first sold-out arena show in her career. But minor details on LIZZO's love for Cincy.

I forgot she had a show last July because it was supposed to be in June at Madison Theater, but got moved to US Bank in July on a date I had tickets for Dude Perfect for my son. So, I missed it.
