I mean, cake makes the most sense. The line is "The cake is a lie" and the hint is, "is it a lie?" and shows the specific screenshot from the game.
There is apparently a crazy metal band named Portal, but that's not it.

The other clues were really simple references to the title of a song so I don't think it'd be a huge stretch. But also hopefully it's referencing a song again and not the band name.

I tend to be leaning this way as well. Cake is just too easy... maybe a song title with Cake, but why use Portal then? Just use a picture of a cake.
