I’ll be there again this year, I’ve gone the last couple years. I know Kiss is having something to do with it, so I’m curious if anything new will happen this year. I’m sure we’ll have the full leak before, but if not I’ll post it right after the reveal.

The best part about last year was booing so loudly during the Blink announcement that they couldn't use the b-roll.

IF the headliners are accurate, I could see that all lining up.

I feel like Kiss and Q102 have both covered the festival pretty heavily in recent years, so I don't know that I would read into that at all.

I prefer Alternative music over top 40 so I'm glad to hear this!

They’ll be several KISS 107.1 artists part of the festival.” #Bunbury2020 lineup reveal party is happening in just a few weeks so you won’t have to wait much longer. 🤐🤐🤐 twitter.com/barriersvinyl/…

I don't get that station so I'm not sure who they regularly play but it looks like it's an IHeartRadio station so probably the usual suspects. Haha I actually listen to my SiriusXM more than anything so I'm pretty behind on what is in heavy rotation on Top40 these days.

I’ll listen to the project if I’m not in my car.

Looking at last year's lineup, I'd say that Fall Out Boy, The 1975, Machine Gun Kelly, NF, AWOLNATION, lovelytheband, and Flora Cash all got some amount of airplay on KISS. While I wouldn't be surprised if this year's lineup leaned more top 40, especially with the supposed headliners, I just don't think it means much that KISS is involved this year.

The project and KISS always promote it and have a lot of meet and greet contests. I just can’t remember KISS doing anything with the announcement party. I morseo meant the party could have a live performance or something, kinda like what they did Labor Day weekend with Judah and the Lion.

"Part of the festival" honestly sounds like the artists they play are present but not high up in billing. I think Kiss is just the station in the best position to push tickets.

Living in Cincinnati, what I’ve noticed is that they have all of Kiss 107, Q102 (both top 40 radio), and the Project (alternative) run ads for the fest. The difference is that an add for the 2018 fest (last ads I remember hearing) on a pop station would highlight artists like post Malone, Chainsmokers, and Blink-182 while the projects ads would mention Jack White, Incubus, Young the Giant etc.

That's hilarious Whoever was running the main video camera on the top level had it at one point. Definitely professional, broadcast style rig. I was standing three feet behind and to the left of him

I saw them promoting this on Facebook yesterday morning. No clue but they can repost about the event it seems.
Is this usually well attended? If something like this was in Columbus I would totally go but there's never been something like that up here for a festival really.

I'll be there. Last year the venue had a decent amount of people but they weren't packed (like 3-400 maybe? the first 200 got drink tickets and I was the last person to get one, and at least 100-200 came in after me) but it was also on a day the temp was below zero. I'd expect a few more this year.

I'll be there. Been the past two years, and such a difference in the event. 2018 had a line for tickets that took forever after the lineup was announced, and almost no line whatsoever last year. I only go for the cheaper tickets, because (at least in the past) you don't get hit with the service/convenience fees when you buy there.

It's basically buying from the box office, so there shouldn't be Ticketmaster fees. Plus, price goes up that morning so it's the only chance to pay early bee price once the lineup is announced. Not a bad deal.

Not a bad deal. If memory serves me right, you can actually still buy tickets at the early bee price online the same night the lineup is released. At least I'm pretty sure we did this in 2017 and 2018

Someone please record the reveal tonight. I'd love to see it Their target age with this line up is 14 year olds. And then 50 year old men? Who like country-ish music? Again, when you try to cater to everyone, you cater to no one.
