I’ll guess Sturgill Simpson just based on the kind of artists they booked last year

This festival drew exceptionally well last year for its lineup. I could see a higher tier of headliners this year. Maybe someone like Lumineers, Kacey Musgraves, Sturgill Simpson, or Weezer. Some lower tier headliners might be Nathaniel Rateliff, Sheryl Crow, Portugal. The Man or Death Cab for Cutie

Clue 2 Guesses: The Head and The Heart Young the Giant Ben Rector Leon Bridges Pretty certain this is The Head and the Heart. They ‘liked’ the tweet not long after it was posted.

Definitely Head and the Heart and Young the Giant. Last year their clues were the same and did hold multiple artists. Based on the lineups last year, I'm guessing that these two bands will probably be the #2 slot for each day, with a bigger headliner ahead of them. Maybe #3 depending on how big they book. Last year was a huge success for the lineup they had, so I'm hoping they take it up a notch this year.

If they produce a decent lineup it may be tempting since it’s less than an hour away for me.

Young the giant doesn’t seem like their type of band to have there though. They have more country or bluegrass

Young the giant doesn’t seem like their type of band to have there though. They have more country or bluegrass Hozier and Jack White headlined last year. Also, had Gary Clark Jr and several other bands that weren’t country. I agree the overall festival vibe is country/bluegrass but I wouldn’t rule out a few rock bands.

There will be some rock, and then more of a bluesy/folk feel with bands like Head and the Heart. Probably some country too.

Looks like this last clue points to Jason Isbell and Trampled by Turtles.

Eh, little bit let down by the headliners. This festival isn't really in my wheelhouse, and I'm okay with that. Was just expecting someone with a little more name ID on the top line. YTG, Head and the Heart and Decemberists are all good bookings. Wish we got those at Forecastle.

Decent lineup for what it is. Paul Cauthen and Colter Wall will be highlights, nice to see them on a line up around here. I would have liked to see Orville Peck on this.

Was really looking forward to this after the Head and Heart, Young the Giant, and City and Colour hints, but I’m not that interested in anything else besides The Decemberists. Looks like Wonderstruck is now a lock for me, hoping Wonderbus too.

I’m extremely interested in this event. Anyone tell me anything about the experience? Crowds? Lines? How does it compare to Bunbury?

I’m extremely interested in this event. Anyone tell me anything about the experience? Crowds? Lines? How does it compare to Bunbury? I have a friend who went last year and she had nothing but positive things to say. Crowds were very chill, definitely more of a mature and maybe even wealthier demographic, she said. This is Forecastle's sister festival, and I've been to Forecastle the past few years. I was very, very impressed both times. If they execute Railbird even half as well as Forecastle, it'd be worth going.
