What are peoples thoughts on this? I hate its the weekend before Bonnaroo now... But I still won't miss it.

What are peoples thoughts on this? I hate its the weekend before Bonnaroo now... But I still won't miss it. I'm good with it. Based on FB you'd think they were asking you to sacrifice your first born child to get in. Ticketmaster does the ticketing, which sucks, but everything else seems positive. Consolidated stages, new layout, better acts (reportedly). For all the bitching people did last year you would think they would welcome a new promotion company. And the dates are the dates. There will Always be another festival competing on the same weekend or right near it. |

My biggest worry (long term) is that the festival is no longer locally-owned and controlled. What is PromoWest keeping from moving the festival to Columbus, if that is what they want to do? Nothing.
I have no problem with moving the dates to June as such.
