I think the lineup is pretty solid but I'm kind of disappointed by the lack of some great undercards in my opinion. Was really hoping for someone like BØRNS or Atlas Genius.

Borns, Atlas Genius, Saint Motel, Ra Ra Riot, The Head and the Heart I thought were all possible. Sad to see none of them. Still happy though.

I think the lineup is pretty solid but I'm kind of disappointed by the lack of some great undercards in my opinion. Was really hoping for someone like BØRNS or Atlas Genius. I feel similarly. I had it in my head Silversun Pickups would be in. Hoping I find some new bands on the list I really end up liking. |

The listed headliners are pretty good, but I was hoping for a bit larger of a name. Maybe that last headliner will do it, but if its Lenny Kravitz I'll be bummed.
As far as Beck ... remember two years ago when there was a mysteriously missing headliner that was named about a month later as Empire of the Sun? Guess who was the one that backed out causing that.

Beck was supposed to be the last headliner but at the last minute he signed on for Forecastle instead. That's why there was the scramble to find a different headliner. A good friend works with the Promoter at the time.

Lenny would be a bummer for me. Not a fan at all. I really wanted to like this lineup enough to get VIP. I'm just not sure for me.... if this is enough. Great lineup, don't get me wrong. However several bands I have seen, several I don't care to see at all and a few that i'm "meh" about. A good portion of the "bottom"... I have never even heard of (not a bad thing)

Does anyone know how quickly single day tickets usually sell out and when they usually become available? VIP sold out within a day or so of the lineup announcement. I feel like 3 day passes sold out some time in April or after the schedule was announced. And single days were available all the way up to that weekend. I could be wrong though. I know single days probably wont be on sale until the schedule is dealt. |

I fully expect Borns and St. Motel to be at PromoWest Fest. Borns has played Newport here in town (run by Promowest) and sold it out (in fact, he was supposed to be at The Basement, which holds a few hundred at best, and tickets went off the shelves so fast that they moved it) and he came around for the Bleachers tour too so they know people will turn out for him. St. Motel I think SHOULD have that album out around the summer time (I would imagine since they are touring off of an EP at this point) so they will surely look to jump on some festivals that aren't finalized yet. Some of the other ones that people expected "Ra Ra Riot" and "Bloc Party" are both going to be at PromoWest venues around Ohio and Pittsburgh so I think there's a solid shot you see them as well. |

Surprising since they are going to drop that lineup in March sometime but I would imagine it will be pretty similar to Bunbury in terms of the logistics of tickets and everything like that. |
