Nathaniel Rateliff has Thursday marked for Nelsonville, and then nothing during Bunbury. Maybe Thursday is just marked since its the first day of the festival? But for FIrefly they have every date down for that. I'm guessing Nelsonville and Bunbury won't be sharing acts. Being only 90 minutes away on the same weekend, I would guess they would consider themselves to be competing festivals. It's much the same way that Forecastle and Bunbury didn't share any acts when they occurred the same weekend. It's a pretty similar distance apart. Having said that, I don't know anything one way or the other, so it's always possible.

Pearl Jam just announced a spring tour. The closest they come is Lexington, then they have a break between mid May and Bonnaroo. I don't think it's very likely, but you never know with PromoWest.

Give us Pearl Jam and LCD Soundsystem and I'd go VIP in an instant!
Of course the likelihood of either of them at Bunbury doesn't seem great.

Promowest announced Dawes is playing Newport Music hall in Columbus in April. Their listed tour currently ends April 28th though, so no idea if they are playing any shows past that. Just another name to throw in the Promowest bucket.

Any chance they could get The Killers? I think they are playing Governors Ball, but not much else. They are on my bucket list but never play anywhere close by.

Just another name to throw in the Promowest bucket. Saw them back in June before Hozier. They were really good. Would love to see them again.

Thanks. Must have missed the one at the casino. I'm from WV. We don't get many good concerts, so I try to make it to Cincy when I can.

Panic! At the Disco unfortunately won't happen because they're playing in Germany the same weekend I believe. I'm thinking maybe the Griswolds and Magic Man. They are touring together and playing at Newport Music Hall through PromoWest in April

Don't forget the Sawyer Point capacity is only 20k. I wouldn't even expect anyone the level of Black Keys to play again, that was even a stretch. I even think Florence might be too big now.

Did bunbury just release a hint with their last tweet about warm thoughts? Warm thoughts is a song by Flume, and he's at coachella and hangout. Though electronic really isn't their thing historically, I could definitely see Flume fitting in nicely

Though electronic really isn't their thing historically, I could definitely see Flume fitting in nicely Last year we speculated that some of their tweets or posts like that might be hints but it turned out they were not. They told us straight out when they started giving out the hints. So, it's possible, but I don't think so. I think it was probably just a weather related post.

Promowest just announced a new three day music festival in Columbus for July called "Promowest Fest" Have to wonder how if at all this will affect Bunbury seeing as how the two festivals are less than two hours apart and will probably be grabbing much of the same audience.
Here's their official statement:
Columbus! PromoWest Productions is thrilled to announce the inaugural PromoWest Fest, July 15-17 2016, featuring three days of national and local talent on three stages throughout McFerson Commons and North Bank Park!...

I can't imagine that is good news for a Festival that is put on by the same company, two miles apart, and only a month apart...

Although I seem to remember PW talking about creating a series of regional festivals (including Indianapolis) in the near future. Maybe they'll start getting enough clout in the industry to have a touring festival that retains a lot of the same bands.

Buckle Up is coming back. They haven't announced anything yet though. I know a little bit, but I'm not allowed to say anything yet. Trust me, the stuff I know isn't anything to really wonder about. I just don't want to betray any trusts. It's just enough info that I can say it's still coming back this year.

I think everyone should name a list of 10 bands and see who can get the most right. If you have any inside intel you are disqualified ha

Did anyone see the announcement from Radiohead that they're playing a festival in Switzerland in July and that there could be more festival dates to come? I can dream...

Last time Radiohead came to town was 2012 and they played Riverbend. If they can play Riverbend I wouldn't think it's impossible that they would play Bunbury.

BTW, hello to all. I've been reading this board the last couple weeks, but I just signed up. I already bought VIP passes for this year, and it will be my third Bunbury overall.
I agree with what many have said before that Florence is a very likely headliner based on the schedule. I'm also hoping for Pearl Jam as a headliner, and now I have thrown Radiohead into the mix. Truth be told, I'd be very happy with getting one of those two.
Also, I would be in for guessing ten acts and seeing who gets the most correct.

Anyone know what the smallest festival PJ has played in the past say 5 years? Not sure Bunbury is big enough.

Anyone know what the smallest festival PJ has played in the past say 5 years? Not sure Bunbury is big enough. Yeah, it seems kind of out of the norm for them to go that small. They are playing Bonnaroo for god's sake! I can guarantee if they play Bunbury, VIP will sell out almost instantly. They have a very loyal following.

I'm a fan, will be seeing them at Bonnaroo for the tenth time. Wuuld love to see them at Bunbury also, but it definitely would sell quick. Every PJ show Ive been too there's always people from all over the country there.
