Call me crazy, or at least crazy with denial, but I don't know if I'm buying that Mudcrutch post from CincyMusic. Still thinking (and hoping) they`ll be Saturday, as part of an ultimate jam and rap day! That's possible because those tour dates are exactly as they were listed on the email on Mudcrutch's tour announcement. Someone did ask if it was their date or a placeholder, and they tweeted back that it was a placeholder. But that still doesn't rule out that the placeholder could still be the actual date they play too.

I know people often put the first day as the placeholder regardless but with things starting to leak and us having confirmed some days it could actually be accurate. NOTE: If you look at their dates on BandsInTown, they play back to back shows then have a break for a few days on this tour and it appears they are playing the 2nd then have the 3rd listed for Bunbury then a few days off then a show in DC on the 6th and then another show on the 7th. bandsintown.com/Mudcrutch?came_from=234

I have to say that I'm surprised Tears for Fears is on Sunday. I thought for sure they would be a Saturday slot.
I also tweeted Bunbury to just leak their own schedule before everyone else does. ha

Hahaha! Right! If Flo already has the daily lineup then everyone else does too. And last I checked she didn't delete the tweet or anything. Unless they wanted to do it to boost ticket sales (because she did include the tickets link).

funkymoses17 What did the Florence tweet say? Seems to be gone. It was from this morning from her official account. It doesn't surprise me she deleted it though. They probably told her to delete it since it doesnt come out until Friday.

Ah maybe it was Grimes or someone. I couldn't remember all of it. I remember Bayside and Lany. Haha I just want the damn line ups and if they are going to do a third headliner to just announce it already. I'm good even if they don't but now I'm kind of excited at the prospects of it being Lenny K.

I think Lenny happens, but we'll just have to wait and see.

Don't know if this will show but I saved that Sunday lineup. BTW, I am still one who thinks Mudcrutch will be the Sat headliner and what we got is what we got, but hoping I'm wrong.

I have a feeling Bunbury will announce a third headliner. I just can't think that they wouldn't promote the shit out of Mudcrutch if they were a headliner. But the fact that the third slot is vague and ambiguous leads me to believe it's someone else that hasn't been announced.
As someone mentioned before, it's one of Petty's earlier bands, they are touring for the first time in almost a decade with a new album. It's kind of a big deal, and if they were the headliner, I think they would be stupid to not play that up.

I've admittedly never listened to Mudcrutch, are they any good? Is it like his stuff with The Heartbreakers or?

I've admittedly never listened to Mudcrutch, are they any good? Is it like his stuff with The Heartbreakers or? They seems to be a little bit more "country" or "bluegrass" than Heartbreakers, but not full on country. Although, you can pick up a little bit of Heartbreakers sound here and there, and you can definitely hear Petty's distinct voice. I enjoy them, and I'm looking forward to seeing them. Check out Scare Easy and Shady Grove. Crystal River is apparently their "jam" song and is almost 10 minutes.

So it sounds like it would make the MOST SENSE to put Mudcrutch and Umphrey's McGee back to back to kind of close off a night with Jam Bands but I keep seeing Mudcrutch is happening on Friday so that probably isn't happening. Although there are multiple stages. I guess we haven't really considered they would put a certain type of music on one stage and then put someone else on the mainstage (i.e. Jam Band stage and then Main Stage type thing)

Could this festival afford another headliner though, realistically? Flo and the Killers headline festivals on the reg and you knowwwwww Mudcrutch could not have possibly come cheap.
If no headliner is added, Mudcrutch on Saturday is the only option that makes sense. Otherwise, what? Your 5th and 6th billed acts headline the biggest day -- Saturday -- of the entire weekend?
Also, for those who haven't listened to Mudcrutch, definitely check 'em out if you like old-school rock n roll and some jam numbers. Their live EP is fuckin awesome and they aren't just country-fied Heartbreakers. Check out "Treetop Flyer" and "The Wrong Thing To Do" -- kick ass!

It'll probably be Grimes into OM&M into Florence since they're touring together.
I can't believe how few acts they got. Nothing even remotely interesting for the smaller stages.

Well if I remember, we were looking at BandsInTown and some people are confirmed for dates at Bunbury that haven't been announced. So it's possible they do "Artist Additions" like some of the other bigger festivals do.
