I think it's pretty unlikely Big Grams plays Sunday, unless they are for inexplicable some reason routed from NYC to Houston and then back to Cincinnati.

Anyone wondering if Umphrey's McGee could be the headliner for Saturday? I would have a hard time with them as a headliner considering I thought they were a restaurant rather than a band until the Hive Hints came around this year.

Anyone wondering if Umphrey's McGee could be the headliner for Saturday? I was actually thinking this. Wouldn't surprise me one bit. Promowest knows the pulse of Ohio in general and they are very aware that Umphrey's headlines smaller festivals throughout Ohio all the time so it isn't really a stretch at all. People would pack the main stage for them for sure.

They have amazing lighting for their shows, so I could see them going on late and when it's dark. (see below)

Umphrey's gets venues PACKED. They could easily pack a mainstage if they were the last act and it was dark out and all. It would certainly be segmenting your audience but tbh, when they had Avett Brother and Black Keys as headliners that was kind of limiting your audience as well.

I'm becoming more and more convinced that UM will be the third headliner. I can't imagine them doing a show and not being able to utilize the lighting at night. I mean, Empire of the Sun was more of a 2nd or 3rd tier act, but I think their lighting and theatrics put them at the main stage as headliner.

I'm not sure what Cinci's city limits are in terms of how late you can have an act perform on Saturday night but we could always see them perform after someone too. They don't necessarily NEED the mainstage for their set up and they could easily put them on as a "late night" act like some bigger festivals do when acts perform after the headliner.

I don't think Umphrey's is the Saturday headliner. They are the 10th band listed on the festival lineup. Don't think they would put a headliner that far down.

Pollstar, who lists Mudcrutch for Friday, has placed The Mowgli's and Lydia on Friday as well. They also have Big Grams on Sunday. Big Grams was not shown on the Sunday leak. Not sure how reliable PollStar is. I'm not convinced Mudcrutch is Friday.

Not sure how reliable PollStar is. I'm not convinced Mudcrutch is Friday. Chalk this up to "something I've never seen before": Big Grams on BandsInTown is listed at Governors Ball on Friday, Free Press Summer Festival on Saturday, and Bunbury on Sunday. HOWEVER, they also have Bunbury listed for Saturday as well. Free Press is in Houston, TX. So the two scenarios would be they played in Houston on Saturday then came back up to Cinci on Sunday or they play both on Saturday. Neither of which seems like smart booking by their own tour manager to be honest. Flying from NY to Texas then back to Ohio in one weekend seems a bit ridiculous honestly. DJ's traditionally have played shows on the east coast and then took off and played shows a few hours later in the west coast before but I don't know how realistic it would be for them to play Bunbury then head down to Texas unless they had an early set at Bunbury and then went down to Texas immediately and had a later set there (not to mention the time zone change would technically help this theory). I just can't believe they would book something from New York to Texas to Ohio in a day and not flip the Texas and Ohio dates.

That should clarify some things for us.

It's only X Ambassadors and Big Grams, but it'll be nice to see if Pollstar or if the leak is accurate.

I'm still assuming the leak is more accurate than Pollstar. I just don't have a lot of faith in them for accurate info of any kind. BUT I could be proven very wrong today!

The leak was only for Sunday. Flo tweeted it, but then deleted. If you search the last couple of pages on this thread, there's a pic of it.

My hopes for a Mudcrutch Saturday are selfish, as I can't make Friday and they're my must-see. But for people going all-weekend, it's a win-win -- if Mudcrutch is Friday, it's almost guaranteed a decent act is getting added.

Selfishly I am really hoping Mudcrutch is on Friday because then maybe that means Lenny is actually happening and that one be a once in a lifetime thing for me. But I'm pretty much content with whatever happens at this point haha.
