Anyone notice this tweet? FeastyWhat is Feasty? Apparently, it's an app with mobile food discounts. I thought it was going to be something to do with food and ordering at Bunbury, but it was just the announcement of a contest. Although, it did say that there would be discounts available for some vendors at the fest.

I'm kind of hoping with VIP I'll eat free and not spend a whole lot on food.

Looks like I'll be getting a refund.

I had VIP last year but I don't remember there being much food in the tent. Do you know if they will have some there this year?

Last year it was just like little snacks. Nothing that will keep you full. Maybe it will change this year.

Did anyone see the tweet announcing Tears for Fears cancelled their entire summer schedule? Wonder if they can get a fill in this late...Will they just move Mummies to the main stage?

Wow, hope everyone's alright. I was probably going to see Mummies over them anyway but this is still a huge blow to Bunbury

I hadn't thought about the Flaming Lips thing but that would be a good sub. They are in Arkansas on the 4th so they could make it on the 5th.
I was going to see Tears over Mummies but I was pissed off about having to choose. I'd be fine if they just moved Mummies off the side stage so I could see them from the VIP.

Yeah the Lips could definitely make that trek easily. Don't know if they would but I would imagine Tears got enough money to cover the Lips. Although BOTH are at Promowest Fest so I wonder if the pay disparity there would force Bunbury to kick in more money now or if they would just settle for someone a little less that will be around the area.

Flo was amazing at Roo last year, easily my favorite act. AND they only gave her 45 minutes to perform so the fact she's going to get over an hour is going to be even better.

I looked through yesterday and outside of saying their thoughts were with them or something along those lines, the Bunbury account hasn't mentioned replacing them so it's possible it's just too short of notice and they are going to just go with the currently lineup sans Tears for Fears.

They are the only act playing at that time before the headliner, and it's the River Stage. They are either moving them or filling the slot...but something has to happen. If they were smart, they would move Mummies, and find a smaller act to fill the slot on the River Stage. Should be easier finding a lower tier band than a second tier for a main stage, me thinks.

Pretty much my thoughts exactly. Or maybe they could move Mummies to the main stage, then take an earlier act like Holy White Hounds and move them into the newly opened slot on the side stage at 9:15. Creates less of a hole in the overall schedule.

Doesn't look like there will be a replacement. Although, there is chatter about moving Elle King to fill the Tears slot and moving Coleman Hell to her slot. I would HATE that option because I don't want to choose between Elle King and Mummies. Attachments:

Since that's a horrible option and would do nothing but cause more hard decisions, I'm sure that's what they will do. Chatter where?

It was on the comments of the Facebook post as suggestions from other fans, not Bunbury specifically. But like you said, since it's the worst possible option, they will probably do it.

For those who have been VIP, I have a question. I've heard there could be special appearances and/or performances by some of the bands. Is there any kind of announcement or schedule for this? Do you just have to be there and get lucky?
Also, is there plenty of room in the front of stage viewing area or should I expect it to be crowded for the bigger acts?

I don't know the answer to the first question, as I'm curious about it myself. As for room in front of the stage, there is a decent amount of room. If you remember, there were two sections in front of the stage with the center being open for sound. One entire side is blocked off in front of the stage for VIP maybe 20 or so feet deep. I only know this because we were up front for a couple of acts last year and I noticed it. It can get a little crowded, but if you get there early, it shouldn't be too bad. However, I noticed it pretty crowded during Snoop, which was the last act, so that could've also been the reason. I would expect it to be the same for Flo.

If you look at the app Elle King is the 8th most scheduled act. Coleman Hell is 20th and Here Come The Mummies are 22nd most scheduled.
The logical thing to do is move Elle King unopposed on Sawyer Point from 9:00 to 10:00. Move the Mummies to Sawyer Point from 7:00 to 7:45 which would overlap with Coleman Hell.
