Rowdy Roddy Piper... so J Roddy Walston and the Business? I don't know him, but if that's him I'm thinking that's a good guess. I was hoping Killers or Rage Against the Machine. But I tend to dream big.

M83 is playing in Columbus on June 3 It's possible they could be there. They play the 6th in Pittsburgh as well, although they are on the Governors Ball lineup. So it would be a pretty tall order to play in Columbus, then Cinci, then NY then come back to Pittsburgh. They need a break at some point. NOTE: If you go to Ticketmaster they don't have the concert in Columbus listed anymore. You can't find tickets to it at all although it's still on PromoWest's website. That makes me think they either have been moved to Bunbury for that weekend and they play Governors Ball as well and then go back to Pittsburgh or something of that combo. Also, I know it's not tied to Bunbury since they played last year but Twenty One Pilots is playing a show in Pittsburgh and then going to Governors Ball but there is no Columbus show at all, which makes me think they are going to be one of the headliners for PromoWest Fest since they played Bunbury last year. Just putting it out there.

The Wombats announced a tour. June 2 in Cleveland and nothing until June 7 in Idaho. I think we could see them at Bunbury

M83 is playing in Columbus on June 3 They're also scheduled for Bogarts Tuesday, June 7th, so I'm not too sure anymore.

But that pretty much rules them out for Bunbury unless that date changes. Pearl Jam did that with their Nashville Date after being locked into Bonnaroo but I don't know that that is something that happens very often.

I feel like Bunbury should already have artists locked down. They're most likely announcing the lineup in two weeks or so.

Long shot: Leon Bridges on Sunday. He's playing a Promowest gig and has some time from June 4th from Philly to June 8th in St. Louis. Downside is it's a long way from Philly to Cincy in one night.

Any thought on Yeasayer? They have an album coming out April 1st and it seems the tour dates they have now have a reasonable gap:
Shaky Beats Music Festival 2016 (Friday 20 May 2016 – Sunday 22 May 2016) Centennial Olympic Park, Atlanta, GA, US
| V
Saturday 11 June 2016 – Sunday 12 June 2016 Yeasayer Field Day 2016 Victoria Park, London, UK

Atlas Genius announced a tour. They have nothing scheduled from Bottlerock (May 27-29) until Firefly (June 16-19). They played a Promowest gig back in July 2015. I could see them coming.

A lot of people were mentioning Ra Ra Riot. They are playing in Toronto Sunday, June 5th at Field Trip Festival. They are also playing in Cleveland Saturday, June 11th at LaureLive. That's all they have scheduled in June.

That's all they have scheduled in June. yeah that would be weird travel wise to pull off flying from Cinci to Toronto to Cleveland. Just seems like an odd and unnecessary travel schedule. They are in Columbus sometime coming up too. I don't know how much I'd bank on them being there.

Toronto is a pretty quick flight from Cincinnati and Cleveland. Less than 90 minutes from Cincy. And Cleveland is right in between. There were some bands who played the Field Trip Festival that same weekend last year. I know Father John Misty for one did. I wouldn't rule them out at all.

Looking at last year's schedule, both Father John Misty and Temples played in Toronto the Sunday, while playing at Bunbury Friday. So yes, I still like Ra Ra Riot's odds.

Touche, I didn't realize Toronto was that close to Cleveland. Sounds pretty reasonable then. Watch them be the damn Hive Clue today too.

Bunbury accepted submission from local/regional bands. Have those bands been chosen and/or been contacted yet? If not, when will that happen, and how will bands be contacted?

Is there anywhere we are compiling a list of artists that we think are there thus far? Like we have the Hive Hints and then I think we've talked about a few that we think are highly probable (when it comes to headliners).

Saint Motel seems like a likely undercard as well and I think the possibility of Weezer was mentioned before.
Has anyone considered Alabama Shakes, Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, Cage the Elephant, Silversun Pickups, or The Arcs?

The Arcs, Alabama Shakes, and Andrew McMahon are all playing at Forecastle. It doesn't rule them out, but they are all a lot less likely, as Bunbury and Forecastle have never shared the same acts.

I would love to see BØRNS or Oh Wonder. Both are in the Midwest area like Indianapolis somewhat around the 3-5 so I wouldn't rule either of them out.
