Saint Motel seems like a likely undercard as well and I think the possibility of Weezer was mentioned before. Has anyone considered Alabama Shakes, Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, Cage the Elephant, Silversun Pickups, or The Arcs? Yes, Saint Motel was one I forgot. The Arcs, Alabama Shakes, and Andrew McMahon are all playing at Forecastle. It doesn't rule them out, but they are all a lot less likely, as Bunbury and Forecastle have never shared the same acts. I would imagine Forecastle artists are ruled out because of the festival contracts. One or both of the festivals has to have some kind of distance clause. It's hard to believe that's not the case with the two festivals not once sharing an artist over the last four years. |

I don't think there's anything to figure out about them. But again, Bunbury and Forecastle haven't shared a single artist on the same year yet. Alabama Shakes, The Arcs, and Andrew McMahon will all be at Forecastle. I could easily see Cage The Elephant being in the top 5 for Bunbury but I hope they aren't since they just played in 2014. |

That's a whole lot of "meh" for me. Umphreys will probably be fun.

Pretty sure Bunbury does not have a distance clause because PromoWest wants all these artists to play in Columbus too. Like the Neighbourhood is playing Bunbury then playing in Columbus at a PromoWest venue 5 days later. I bet Forecastle has a distance clause though.

The distance clause would only be a factor for other Promoters. PromoWest definitely has one.

So being that they have said the lineup would be announced "about the same time" are we expecting a hive hint per day with a lineup coming one week from today? That's what I've been thinking, especially since we are getting weekend hints.

Borns is an AWESOME show. Saw them a few months back. I'm really impressed with the lineup (the potential acts we've batted around) thus far.

That's what I've been thinking, especially since we are getting weekend hints. Probably. In January, I think they also said that prices go up next month when the lineup is released. At the same time, I wouldn't be surprised if it was a week later. They've had release parties the past 2 years, and I haven't seen anything like that published this year. Not sure that they will have one this year, but I don't think they could pull it together in a week. Edit: maybe the polls they started on twitter will turn into a confirmation? |

what's the chance of the line up coming out Friday? That's the same date they released it last year (2/26) and with these polls I feel like they are trying to speed things up...or are just trying to keep us occupied and interested who knows

Last year, there were 21 hints. I think they'll do one a day through Sunday. On Monday (2/29), they will do 2 a day through Wednesday. That would be a total of 20 hints. We'll see though. |

So is anyone else pumped for Umphrey's? Probably the band I'm most excited for. Not because they are my favorite or anything but because they finally have a jam band on the lineup this year. Hopefully it brings a little more hippie vibe that I see at other festivals. I mean hippies are always nice and bring a generally chill/community feel to the crowd.

Each year has been a different than the previous...
Hell if they pulled out Pearl Jam, Bette Midler, and Kanye, I wouldnt be surprised at all... wouldnt be happy (minus the PJ, of course)

It's gotten to the point where I've allowed myself to fully believe Florence is going to be a headliner based on her not having any dates that weekend and having dates within close proximity that I'm going to be VERY disappointed if she isn't one of them.
