just bought pit seats for Hella Mega in C-Bus. $264 with fees. i remember paying around that much for pit seats for green day alone back in Cinci in 2017. Really not too bad considering it's 3 headliner level bands.Ticket says show starts at 5:30 so I'd assume we get full sets from each band. Really looking forward to this one.

Ive never seen a show at the outdoor part of Express Live. I'm thinking about getting tickets for the Aug 3 Modest Mouse show, and I was wondering if seating is first come first serve just like the indoor venue. I understand this might sound like a stupid question, but I see that there are two sections, separated by VIP seating, so I'm not 100% sure how that would work.

I understand this might sound like a stupid question, but I see that there are two sections, separated by VIP seating, so I'm not 100% sure how that would work. It's pretty much all GA. There is a "pit" area that is pretty big and there is an entrance to that but it's kind of just a come and go as you please thing. It's all concreate and then there is a smaller area above the pit that has tables and chairs that is VIP/Sponsor seating and then the rest is the grass pavilion set up. There is a small VIP area of the far end of the venue for Express Live employees and sponsors also with a private bar but you have to have specific passes to that. They have concessions and what not when you walk in on your left and then up behind the wall up top of the pavilion. There isn't really a bad spot to watch from on the outside part. Although I will note, there is a large pillar on the right side of the pit that is a complete obstruction for viewing if you are on the far right side of the grass (if you are looking at the stage). Definitely avoid that area if you can.

I don't think we'll get more than an hour each from Weezer and Fall Out Boy, and an hour and a half from Green Day. Green Day usually plays 2.5 hours themselves on a headline tour. There's a 4th band supporting. Most places have noise ordinances that prevent outdoor concerts from running late. I know Chicago in particular is 11pm and I doubt they're gonna have different set lengths in different cities, so we can use that to figure out the timing. (5:30-11pm = 5.5 hours) Assume The Interrupters get a 30 minute support set, and set changes are the usual 30 minutes. There's 3 set changes (Interrupters to Weezer, Weezer to Fall Out Boy, Fall Out Boy to Green Day.) We're at 2 hours already and that leaves 3.5 to split between the 3 bigger bands. My guess is 1 hour, 1 hour, 1.5 hours. Could be 45 minutes, 1 hour, 1 hour 45 minutes but I can't imagine they'd give Weezer that short a set considering all three bands are getting pretty equal billing. It'd be nice if they cut down set changes to add a little more time for each band, but I don't know how feasible that is for a show this huge.

FYI, if anyone is on the fence about going to this show tomorrow, there are still a lot of tickets left and LiveNation slashed the prices. A little pissed that the $150 tickets I bought back in May are now being sold at 80 bucks, but I'm still excited for the show tomorrow!

Bleachers was a GREAT time last night! The line to check vax status was really quick (we did go around 8:30) and it wasn't totally crowded so we got to stand in the middle of the lawn and weren't really jammed in with anyone.
Concerts are back!

Concerts are back! I was there too, but down in the pit. Hell of a show, Bleachers always delivers. Also, took the drive down to Louisville on a whim to see Grouplove again last night, very glad I did. They played a very different setlist than WonderBus and it was epic. Got there an hour early and got the rail, easily one of the best shows I've been to in a long, long time. Also, Andrew (the guitarist) came down off the stage to sign autographs and chat for a bit after. I found out that the Wonderbus set was indeed delayed due to an abundance of caution from the band. Apparently when it rain earlier in the day when they were first setting up, they were less cautious and it really messed up his pedal board, They spent most of the rest of the day working to repair it, so when it looked like rain was coming they played it safe instead of risking not being able to play at all.

That being said, it was pretty close to full in the outdoor venue, and seems like it probably would've been moved out there anyway, COVID or not. Bleachers has really taken off popularity wise, and is playing some big venues this tour.

Alt-J and Portugal. the Man are playing the Schott in April, but they are also stopping in Newport at the indoor section of Ovation. Pretty odd booking.

I noticed this tour is doing quite a few arenas, but smaller venues as well. I looked into tickets for Columbus, and it is worth noting the map shows they are only using half the arena, with the end stage being positioned in the middle of the floor. My guess is that makes capacity less than 10k.

I've seen PTM enough but I'd like to see Alt-J. I also got tickets to Dua Lipa at the Schott in February and I am very guilty pleasure excited for that show

Kesha is returning to Columbus at Express Live in March. Guess her performance at Wonderbus was a big hit for her to come back so soon. There were a LOT of people with single day passes that seemed to be there only for her. Probably won't go out of my way to see her again, but her show in August was awesome!

She put on a great show. I wont go out of my way to get tickets now but if it gets closer and the tickets are still available, I could find myself there perhaps. Also, did you see Cannons is doing a show at Rumba Cafe?!

Does anyone know any good parking options around the Schott? Going to Dua Lipa?! Not sure in parking to be honest. We are close enough that we just Uber. Perhaps the lot on Ackerman close to the interstate? Depends on how far you are willing to walk I guess.
