Underwhelmed. I can only go on Friday so just load me up on that day and I'll be happy.

I suppose I have a different opinion than most, because I'm loving this line up. There are a few I was expecting that we didn't get which sucks, but Death Cab, Muse, Bassnector, and Bellion are great for me.

Good thing music is subjective, right guys? I'm pretty happy with this. Muse is phenomenal and one of the greatest live bands in existence. Death Cab is awesome and killed it in 2012. I've been wanting to see The Shins for a while. 30 Seconds to Mars is alright, I'll definitely be seeing them if they don't overlap any of the above. There's a lot of bands I'd see, but would not pay to see them at a headlining show, like AFI and Flogging Molly. As for the EDM and hip-hop headliners, meh. I'll be drunk by the end of the night anyway. And I get that their goal is to sell tickets, not cater to everyone unique musical taste, and they're doing the best they can to reach a broad audience.

Really hoping Death Cab and The Shins are the same day, preferably Saturday.

There is definitely enough here to justify the early ticket price. Was really hoping for Phoenix and Portugal the Man, but I'm still excited.

Worst lineup they've had. They almost had to try to be this bad.

I guess I'll put my thoughts after some time to digest it here.
1. Muse is the biggest band to ever play this festival and one of my all-time favorites. However, I am not into Wiz or EDM at all. I'll give BassLights a shot though.
2. The 1975, 30 Seconds, and Death Cab are pretty impressive for a festival second line, but I'm not that into any of them. I'll watch them all, but I'm not excited.
3. What's with all the rap? I'm open to a little of it. I am interested in Watsky and Techn9ne, but there is just too much on this lineup. I'm going with my girlfriend, and she could give less than a shit about any of it. That's a problem when you're fighting through crowds in the heat all day for stuff you don't care about.
4. I know this...I will never again buy VIP before seeing the lineup. I'm too afraid the rap trend will continue. If you took away Muse, I would prefer staying home and seeing Young the Giant, Strumbellas, Gary Clark, Blue October, etc at Laurelive.

But that is my own personal opinion (someone who listens very little to rap)

I went last year. And liked that lineup better. The Killers, Florence and Deadmau5 are all acts I absolutely love and getting to see Big Grams was awesome and HAIM is definitely a band I had never known I liked. On this one I like Muse (more so the rarity of getting to see them) and I would see Pretty Lights and the 1975 and Death Cab but some of it screams "Warped Tour" and Wiz and G-Eazy as the 2nd and 3rd names on there is pretty mind-blowing imo.

Not sure we can be 100% sure on this, but 30 Seconds just tweeted saying they are Sun, June 4. Kind of hoping they headline the second main stage while rap is at the other end that day.
Edit: OK, they are selling meet and greets that cost $300 on top of your ticket, so I'm pretty sure they are indeed June 4.

Are we thinking Muse Friday, Bassnectar and Pretty Lights Saturday, Wiz Sunday? Overall, I would agree. Too much rap for my liking, but I'll still be there and I'll have a great time.

Out of the 5 top line names we have 2 rap and 2 EDM. Basically there will be minimal actual instruments being played this year. What the hell has this festival turned in to?

30 Seconds to Mars is showing a June 4th date on their twitter account. I would think they would match with Muse.

30 Seconds to Mars is showing a June 4th date on their twitter account. I would think they would match with Muse. Not Necessarily. A couple of years ago, Snoop headlined Sunday and Twenty One Pilots played right before them. I could see a similar situation with 30 Seconds to Mars leading into Wiz Khalifa.

I agree mostly with what everyone is saying but this lineup is not disappointing in my opinion, a lot of great acts. Wiz Khalifa is an awful pick but it's fun and everyone will be high or drunk anyway, G-Eazy I don't like but I've seen him and he has full band behind him so at least real music is being played. These are huge EDM acts so even if you don't like EDM it's still impressive. Muse, Death Cab, 1975, AFI, 30 Seconds To Mars, and The Shins that's a lot more middle ground artists than any year before. The lower level rap acts are way better than Wiz, G, and DRAM. NF is one of the best live rappers I saw last year, Tech N9ne is amazing as well. A lot of the smaller bands are decent though I thought last year the opening bands were all great too. It's hard to compare the lineups but I wouldn't say this is disappointing. Maybe we will still get a surprise act like we did last year.

Honestly I'm shocked it's as good as it is considering the hints were for some of the worst acts on the list. I was so nervous we would get stuck with Twenty One Pilots and Chance the Rapper, easily the most middle school thing since Hillary Clinton. A lineup like that is sell out for sure. Wiz & G-Eazy and 1975 while sellout to the middle school crowds at least is far overlooked by more talented acts like Muse, Pretty Lights, Death Cab, Shins, Thirty Seconds to Mars, AFI, Tech, NF etc.

Wiz is in NY on June 2nd, so he is probably June 3rd.

Wiz is in NY on June 2nd, so he is probably June 3rd. I'm always leery maybe when they list day 1 of a festival it's just a placeholder. That being said, I'm pretty well convinced Rev Horton and 30 Seconds are on Sun. And Muse listing June 4 would definitely make Sun the "rock day."

what are they going to be the ones they add!? Cincinnati.com wrote that there would be more for sure. Maybe there's another wave like theyre doing at forecastle (but i doubt that lol). Not stoked about the rap headliners but its what you make of it i guess. Overall I'm very excited, excellent under card!

Are they adding? I know DeadMou5 was a late add last year.

I think locals will be added, but also maybe another surprise although it seems loaded already, idk why people are complaining so much. Definitely could have been worse but yeah the headlining rappers are not as good as the smaller rap acts so I guess that is disappointing but only the rap acts seem to be sell out-ish and that's just one day. Others seem to not know EDM or like it either which is a shame cause these are two huge EDM artists as was Deadmau5 last year.

Admittedly I am not a huge EDM guy but I kind of like checking out different stuff. I had never seen Old Crow and was blown away 2 years ago.
