Does this seem early? I’m fine with it, but I thought they usually did it way later.

early for sure but there's no possible way anyone is interested in a three day to this so I'm sure that's why. they are catering to a diff crowd each day this year. unless ofc they screw even that up forcing us to buy a 3 day for 1 good band each day.... we will see come friday.

Seems like the “guests” are the only one genuinely bitching about the lineup

If anything, Bunbury releasing the daily lineup much earlier than usual is probably a good sign for the festival from a sales perspective. Means they've already sold their quota of Tier 2 3-day passes and are now looking to sell the remaining tickets as single day and Tier 3 3-day.
Personally, aside from a few artists, I think this is the most solid the lineup has ever been from top to bottom. I've already got my 3-day pass and can't wait to rock out with you fellow Bunbarians come June!

Yeah I dont understand the same (or multiple) "guest" showing up with the same picture and being all negative on the lineup when everyone else in here and from the social media chatter have been resoundly position about the lineup as a whole. If you are going to post on here all the time why don't you just make an account?
They are also still selling the current Tier of tickets so I wouldn't expect those tickets to go up until after their announce the daily lineups. And I thought someone (maybe one of the festival runners even) had said they weren't going to do genre specific days again because it messes with the crowd and ticket sales overall when they did that last year?

I also recall reading an article from Promowest saying that they were looking to mix genres up all weekend and not have specific days like previous years. We all remember have VASTLY different the crowd was on Saturday when we had all those teenagers in their drug rugs and weird ass rave costumes show up out of nowhere haha

That is definitely the bassnectar fan base. I'll never forget the spectacle at Bonnaroo 2015 where they would all launch glow sticks forward at the same time during every beat drop.

Looking forward to the daily lineup on Fri. Also, weren't we thinking of disabling guest posts? Seems prudent.

Incubus as the closer on Saturday...that was a curveball

Incubus as the closer on Saturday...that was a curveball 1. doesn't it kind of smell like there was someone else that should be/should've been added? They did that with Deadmau5 the other year. Not that I think they will or anything but it seems so odd and out of no where that it made me think that initially (Add Hall and Oats please!) 2. I do love this festival because it's one where there isn't so many acts going on at once that you can't take some time to just enjoy the environment and vendors and if you really want to just leave early or show up late and explore the city you can do so without feeling like you've missed out on something massive. Literally the best of all worlds.

Literally the best of all worlds. Other than Incubus grabbing the main stage naturday, this seems very well spread out. Friday I will be sprinting between stages like a mad man though. PSA: now hiring people to bring me beers at each stage

Does anyone know when they are going to announce the times for each performance? Friday is going to be hectic.

Chainsmokers/Blink-182 ... who has a guess on this? Both of the play at the same time? Share a set together? or one plays right after another?

To your #1, I thought the same thing when I first looked at the daily lineup. I kinda hate that they did the late announcement with deadmau5 because now I expect something similar every year.

I don't really get the headliner situation at all. Who is going last on Friday? The Chainsmokers or Blink-182? I would think Blink since they repeatedly sell out 20K seat venues themselves. And what the hell is Incubus doing as a headliner? I can only hope that means they're going to add a closer for Saturday.

Anyone else aware that Chainsmokers are also playing in Las Vegas on Friday and Sunday of Bunbury weekend? I thought that would've for sure locked them in for Saturday. I guess they're doing two separate stage setups between Vegas/Cincinnati and just flying themselves and their play button back and forth. 3 hour time difference between Cincinnati/Vegas, but that still has to be a tight schedule.
Also, if you count the number of sets for each day, Saturday has 13 acts while Friday/Sunday have 14 acts each. So there's certainly room for another Saturday act, perhaps a non-rock headliner to balance out with Incubus. I'd guess Skrillex given the current gap in his schedule.
