Panic! at the Disco is slotted to release and album in a week. We have Blink 182 back, and twenty pilots is being heavily speculated. There’s a 2000s kid emo market that is begging to be cornered I remember loving the first Panic! album when it came out. Then in 2016, SWMRS, Andrew McMahon, and Panic! opened up for Weezer on their summer tour and I was IMPRESSED by Panic! They convinced me to buy tickets to their Death of a Bachelor arena tour and I loved it. Being a 25 year old male, I was definitely the minority there but damn do they know who to put on a show I buy it, I’ve only heard good things about their live show. Wouldn’t mind them coming to bunbury I guess. And yeah avett brothers are great and definitely not country

There you go. Your 2019 headliners, Walk The Moon, Blink 182, and Jake Owen. Take me back pls! Chris Stapleton is actually really good. He's much more of a throwback to old country mixed with some Southern Rock. He fits in really well with the lineup they have down there. (Jason Isbell, For what it's worth, I had never listened to him before I decided to go to Forecastle. Now I really like him. And I also hate most all popular country music.

Death Cab has a new album coming out Aug 17, a little late in the year, but if it has some good momentum behind it, I can see them touring for a year on it.

I heard on Alt Nation yesterday that they plan to do a pretty extensive tour for the album starting this summer so I could definitely see them being there next year. Based on the type of acts they book and album releases I definitely would expect Saint Motel, Chromeo, Glass Animals to get strong consideration. I would LOVE for Bob Moses (they completely skip over the MidWest in their fall tour with Mansionair) but I don't know if that's necessarily someone that they would book.

Zaba was an amazing debut album and then to completely go a different direction for the 2nd one and it be such a big success is pretty hard to do these days. I remember we saw them like a few days after their new album came out and it blew me away how everyone knew the words to every song already.

I dunno what the general consensus is on them, and they only have 2 albums although I think it's very likely they are working on a new one that would be out in 2019, but I could easily see them headlining or getting the Young the Giant spot next year.

Run the Jewels would be nice. I think that's who opened up for Lorde on her Melodrama tour? They were alright - and I am not a rap fan and most of the crowd seemed enthused. Whoever the DJ/rapper that opened up for Justin Timberlake on his Man in the Woods tour absolutely ROCKED the arena before Justin came on. I would support having that guy as a afternoon slot

Run the Jewels would be cool to have! I’ve always wanted to see them their show looks great. Rap acts I’m okay with for next year would be: Run The Jewels Childish Gambino Kendrick Lamar Chance The Rapper (this is a big maybe, but I don’t mind his music) Brockhampton Kanye (I’ve always wanted to see him but I’d rather catch him at a non festival date)
That’s about it. Lots my friends really listen to rap but I’m not too hip on it. The one act that I’ve recently come more familiar with is Brockhampton. They’ve been blowing up recently and are more of an alternative rap group and I have to say they’re pretty interesting. Honestly they could be a pre headliner by this time next year

However, he came on 10 minutes late and stopped 30 minutes early so that was super disappointing especially since he was closing the whole weekend

I saw Kendrick right before he got really huge at Bonnaroo in 2015 when he and Deadmau5 co-headlined one night and it was definitely entertaining (I didn't know most of the songs either but he kept my attention) but I do remember him continually fading back into the "and we gon be alright!" chorus at various parts throughout his set and eventually it kind of became a running joke to us.

Eminem is just a weak #1 to begin with in the year 2018

So do we know if Blink 182 is actually headlining, I think we felt that way this year, but they were not in a headlining position.

So do we know if Blink 182 is actually headlining, I think we felt that way this year, but they were not in a headlining position. It's now looking like Travis Barker's got some pretty serious medical conditions (blood clots in the arms and staph infection) so at least we know why they cancelled this time but I'm wondering also if that type of issue is going to potentially have some long term ramifications.

I think they will occupy a lower spot on the bill than they were last year. I’m not sure how payment works but I’d imagine that bunbury already has them locked in for next year so they can go grab some bigger acts. As far as that Friday pre headline slot, they seem to really like to put headliners there now. Back to back years the number 3 billed act played that slot

Apparently things have only gotten worse for Travis Barker according to consequence of sound. He’s been hospitalized due to the blood clots. Let’s hope he’s okay! This isn’t great to see

they NEED to book The Knocks! I know they would be undercard but they have so many damn hits and would be a really fun act.
