Mike?! ARCTIC MONKEYS CONFIRMED #TeamMike2020 Any insight as to whether or not Bunbury has made headway in bringing in more and higher billed female artists? That's an area they have struggled mightily with.

The following is a mock I made on another thread. I made some adjustments after two headliners I speculated about were confirmed out by Steve since they've both headlined before. Kendrick Lamar is a total hail mary since i have no idea what other rap headliner is likely. If anyone else has any ideas, let me know. And for those who have seen the lineup, am I totally off base or do I have a few things right?

Romania doesn’t really mean much for a DJ like that. Remember, the Chainsmokers were scheduled to play in Vegas several hours after their Bunbury set.

I’m not big on most of the popular female acts out there (mostly because it seems as though the ones on the festival circuit play shit genres, imo) Say what you want about Lizzo as a person or what the hell ever, she puts on a fun ass show.

Billie Eilish is in South America that weekend. It’s possible. She has delayed production of her new album indefinitely after her dog died, so I don’t expect a new album or big tour any time soon. However, that delay was announced in late November, so it’s very possible she was booked before then. I’d be very happy with Lorde.

I could see Brittany Howard too, but not sure if she’s a headliner, and one that’s super expensive. I would guess Kacey Musgraves, but she was there in 2015.

Brittany is billed 10th at Shaky Knees, no way she’s headlining. She’d be a nice addition to the undercard though.

Still seems to fit given the hints.

Whoa. That’s a big change in direction for Gov Ball, but a good one for sure. They’re definitely targeting a more mature demographic to go along with the new age policy. This is a GREAT sign for a Bunbury.

Also, with Vampire Weekend playing Promowest venues, in Pittsburgh Wednesday June 3, and now Governor’s Ball with the whole weekend free, I feel like they are still a strong candidate. They are from the early 2000’s and just had a big tour.

They are from the early 2000’s and just had a big tour. If that’s the case then they’d fill the early 2000s spot. If MCR is there that wouldn’t make sense because the other 2 headliners, based on the given info are from the last 5 years, unlsess that info was uneducated.

If we’re talking 90s, Nine Inch Nails are supposably going on tour sometime this year. Also I was thinking that the band that is coming off tour that got big in the past decade is Imagine Dragons. For the description of the three headliners this might be the one to upset some people.

Billie Eilish is in South America that weekend. If we have learned anything in the past, location doesn't seem to matter much anymore. 1975 played Cincy less than a week before Bunbury and if I recall correctly, played NY -> Cincy -> NY that weekend which doesn't make any sense

But they don't fit into the description of the three headliners we have. The oldest act started around 2000ish and the other two are in the last five years or so.

Bonnaroo Lineup Man, when I went in 2015, they had the DOPEST Thursday lineup: Tove Lo, Mac DeMarco, Gramatik, Glass Animals, Jungle, Houndmouth, Courtney Barnett, Doppapod. This years is completely skipable. Don't know a single person on there. I am down with the top lines for every day but man after the first few lines, the undercard is very forgettable (imo). The Struts kind of buried there.

yikes. Friday is dope for me, but saturday is a hard no for me dawg, and sunday is decent. If this were the Bunbury lineup, I think I'd get a one day. Maybe I'm just getting old!
