TSP and Lizzo would be an insane #4 and 5, but man, that would be REALLY expensive. I really don't see having one of Roo's headliners as #4, unless Marshmello is #4 instead That's kinda what I was thinking. I just want these damn hive hints to come out to see if we can lock any of these leaks down! As far as a good #4 and #5, I'm thinking and hoping for Portugal. the Man and Vampire Weekend. I know we said that Vampire Weekend was probably out since your source said they were not headlining, but given these headliners and the info we have about them spending 4x more, I think Vampire Weekend at #4 is very possible.

That's kinda what I was thinking. I just want these damn hive hints to come out to see if we can lock any of these leaks down! I think it really depends on when Lizzo was booked. Remember this last year she was originally booked for cheap at Madison Theater before catapulting to fame and moving to US Bank, and if I remember correctly, Whitney's source said Bunbury started hustling early to get this year booked. Could be similar to Bunbury grabbing Post Malone right before he took off. My source said nothing about TSP or Lizzo, to be clear. Only undercard he confirmed was our yearly 90s nostalgia rock act. I really hope the nostalgia act is something like Everclear

If my source is accurate about even half the lineup they gave me, they won't need to push single-day tickets. I can second that if what I've been told this morning is true. Before I give out this info, I want to reiterate that things change every often and these last few weeks before the lineup are a whirlwind of add/drops. I only have info on the headliners right now, absolutely no clue about any under cards and I am still NOT buying a ticket until I see that finalized poster on January 30th. DO NOT buying a early ticket based on this info as it's possible that things can change. With that being said...I got info from my source just a bit ago...and they are about 99% sure that these are the headliners that have been locked in: -My Chemical Romance -Marshmello -Billie Eilish Man, I hope that's not it. The undercard would have to be a wicked motherfucker for me to go. Completely unrelated, but did anyone see the Millennium hotel closed permanently a week ago? That's where I've stayed for 4/5 Bunburies I attended.

That was always our go-to spot to stay when visiting because of location. Are they building a new hotel in that spot or more of an office building?

I'm indifferent about the headliners.
MCR: Saw them at Warped Tour in high school and they were pretty cool so that's fine. I don't know a lot of songs but of course The Black Parade would be awesome to see live. Marshmallow: Definitely an EDM artist that is certainly more gimmicky than anything Deadmau5 could be considered. He has a lot of dubstep-y type stuff but recently has done more pop type music and actually has collaborations that are being played on Alt Nation shockingly so there is a little bit of crossover appeal. Would imagine his set would be a straight forward DJ set though. Billie Eillish: I think her music wouldn't transfer over well to a live concert setting but her tour sold out almost everywhere and people LOVE her right now. My GF, who swore she was done with Bunbury and Forecastle would be our go-to festival, told me that she would go to this bc of Billie alone, so I think you'll find even casual people weighing options leaning towards Bunbury just at the chance to see her. And especially bc she completely skipped over Ohio.
IF Lizzo were also there, I don't know how they could possibly justify having her below Billie on that lineup. Regardless of what the pay range is, she'd have to be the headliner for one of the nights if they are having her be a top 3 for Bonnaroo. They could be different days and what not but at that point I think you have to bump down Marshmallow or something.
Very intrigued by the undercard. I always assume it's going to be like the Third Eye Blind type band where it's a fine booking but not like anything overly exciting.
I also hope they get Franz Ferdinand, they have been teasing new music and more active on social media recently.

Supposedly a new hotel and an expansion of the convention center. The Millennium was declared a public nuisance a while back, so it had fallen into pretty bad shape from my understanding.

If Portugal. the man, Grouplove, or Bleachers is confirmed, I will pull the trigger.

Anyone have any wild guesses on undercard?
I know MAX is doing a few festivals and he'd be a good fit - I honestly expected to see him last year. But I've yet to see an undercard of any festival this year that really excites me. A few names off of Bonnaroo's undercard I like, Bunbury already had last year or 2018.

If it’s MCR, Marshmello, Billie... yikes. I fail to see how that’s really an improvement over last year.
I mean I got my VIP so I’m going either way, so.
I just hope for a great undercard.

Here is what I am thinking might happen:
In 2018, the lineup looked like this: Jack White - Chainsmokers - Blink 182 Post Malone Incubus
BEFORE Blink dropped, they were NOT closing out a night - rather playing 8:30-9:30. Headliners were: Fri - Chainsmokers Sat - Incubus Sun - Jack White
I'm thinking Steve and I were given the top line and that perhaps korn go the other two?? On the poster, maybe it will be listed: My Chemical Romance - Marshmello - Billie Eilish Lizzo - Smashing Pumpkins
Then the actual headliners are: Fri - My Chemical Romance Sat - Billie Eilish Sun - Lizzo

That's not the act my source confirmed but it's entirely possible they've booked multiple acts that fit that description since those bands always seem to draw a decent crowd at Bunbury.

That would be a SOLID undercard, and one that makes sense. Glass Animals and Bleachers? We love to see it. I'd for sure have schedule conflicts on that undercard.

Headlining Slam dunk fest and were billed at same position as Stone Temple Pilots at LtL. STP was billed really high at Bunbury last year. Easily a second line on the undercard band.

“Wolves” by @selenagomez & @marshmellomusic has reached 800 MILLION streams on Spotify. This is both Gomez’s and Marshmello’s fourth song to achieve this.
Marshmello is definitely popular with the pop and EDM crowd. Other songs he is a part of that mainstream people would know include:
Tongue Tied ft. YUNGBLOOD (currently in regular rotation on Alt Nation) Happier ft. Bastille (everyone's heard that song) One Thing Right ft. Kane Brown (appeals to Country fans probably) Here with Me ft. CHVRCHES (also Alt Nation heavy rotation when it first came out, people have heard it for sure) Silence ft. Kahlid Spotlight ft. Lil Peep Rescue Me ft. A Day to Remember and then a ton of more EDM-centric stuff.
He doesn't do anything for me but he spans a lot of genres name-wise. He'd probably move a lot of tickets.

I hope there's something with the rock/emo vibe like someone you would imagine being at Warped Tour like how we got Bayside last year. I'd love for an afternoon set from someone like The Used, Saosin, Senses Fail, or Hawthorne Heights

I'd love for an afternoon set from someone like The Used, Saosin, Senses Fail, or Hawthorne Heights I was having a medical emergency during The Used's set at the final Warped in NJ (there was an air quality warning all weekend and my asthmatic ass was not having a good time on the beach in the heat) so it'd be really ideal to see them again. They're another band with history with MCR, too. I'd be excited to see any of those names. Anthony Green is taking time off right now to deal with some issues so I wouldn't expect Saosin to be confirmed but Bunbury is months away and he'll probably be fine to perform by then.

Do we really think that Smashing Pumpkins would settle for an undercard slot at Bunbury after headlining Shaky Knees?

Do we really think that Smashing Pumpkins would settle for an undercard slot at Bunbury after headlining Shaky Knees? I vote no on that. They seem like one that would be headliner or nothing, based on price and prestige. Plus, Billy Corgan has always had a pretty massive ego. Can't think he'd settle for less than headliner.
