I wish they would bring a throwback rap act from that era like Ludacris or Nelly. I've seen both of them on numerous festival line ups before and I think they would both be a blast in the early evening slot! Nelly is on some festivals this year performing the full "Country Grammar" album which would be pretty cool to see IMO.

They might be adding some more North American shows later in the year after their European dates. There was rumors of that but nothing from any official sources that I've seen yet. (No Chicago? No Seattle? though they did play there two years ago.) If there was even a hint of PJ coming here this festival would sell out in a minute. I'm a Ten Club member and have been following the tour date thread over on their boards. These guys are dead serious about it. lol I wish though. The closest they are coming around here is Nashville or St Louis but they are coming right in the heart of tax season and that's where I make my money. |

So how often for the hints are we thinking this year? Everyday Monday through Friday up until the lineup would be 14 hints. Last year, they did 10, I could see every other day for the next two weeks for 6, and then everyday the week of for 4, total being 10.

Matchbox 20 is doing a big amphitheater tour this summer. Doubt Bunbury booked them, but perhaps The Wallflowers, who are opening. Seems like a candidate for a 90s throwback

I'm not mad at them...I'm just disappointed I think they probably just do it as its convenient for them, it sounds like they're actually pretty low priority. I assume this is a busy season for their Bunbury team with getting the last few artists locked in, finalizing contracts with production companies and vendors, and preparing a big media blitz for when the lineup drops. The hive hints are a good tool for hype building, but probably dependent on other aspects of the festival. |

I was banned from the fan page by an organizer because I spoke my mind back in 2016. I thought it’d be dead by 19 based on shit that was going on. I’ll be infinitely happy if it’s over with. I can’t put into words how much I hated that shithole. EDIT: Damn apparently lineups have been posted as late as February for Firefly. Bah. Maybe this’ll be the last year. For more context (no one asked for) — I expressed how I felt the security was shit and the crowd was rude as fuck entitled and aggressive white kids. The organizer basically said “You’re wrong.” I pushed it further and got banned. They just deserve it for karma’s sake alone. Never had a worse festival experience. Was my first festival in 16. It was interesting. Went again in 17 and it was just.. not fun. Never been around such a miserable crowd of douchebros in my life. Nothing like a midwest or southern festival. Consistently had great luck with them. |

Firefly is apparently still on, but there has been ZERO info or leaks, which is odd for a festival of that size. I'd think there would be more rumors out there. last year was poorly attended after a very mediocre lineup. Assuming it does return, I hope it follows some of the other fests and moves back to the alternative and rock festival it used to be. |

My source has never blatantly told me that they need to stay tight lipped. The only logical conclusion is that the leaks going around are at least partially correct and they're trying to get to the bottom of what happened. This is the reason I've always referred to my source as "they" and never disclosed what they do or if they're a male/female. Don't want to get that person fired |

I know it's possible to do but why would she want to put herself through that. She can schedule concerts anywhere she wants right now and sell out a show. There's no need to try and fit something like that in.
Anyway, aside from that, Grouplove just announced a show on April 10th at Bogarts. I know that doesn't take them out of the running for Bunbury, but I do believe it makes them less likely. I think The 1975 last year was more of an anomaly and not a regular thing that's going to be happening every year.

They're also hitting Columbus on May 7th --- seems rather soon to come back to Cincy for another show if they would be at Bunbury. Not impossible, but unlikely |
