I kind of wonder if they may have been tossing some misinformation around not to try and mislead people like us, but maybe to see what gets leaked out. I believe the information you guys are giving, but I've been skeptical all along that Billie Eilish would be playing this festival in between two South American dates. I know it's possible to do but why would she want to put herself through that. She can schedule concerts anywhere she wants right now and sell out a show. There's no need to try and fit something like that in. Anyway, aside from that, Grouplove just announced a show on April 10th at Bogarts. I know that doesn't take them out of the running for Bunbury, but I do believe it makes them less likely. I think The 1975 last year was more of an anomaly and not a regular thing that's going to be happening every year. They're doing Express Live on May 7th, too. That's a long tour.

They're also hitting Columbus on May 7th --- seems rather soon to come back to Cincy for another show if they would be at Bunbury. Not impossible, but unlikely Yeah, I'm calling them unlikely, but super stoked I'll be able to catch at least two shows on this tour! There's no Louisville date, maybe a Forecastle undercard act?? EDIT: They do have a Louisville show, so they are likely out for Forecastle too.

Band of Horses are coming to Bogarts March 26. Looks like I’ll be there twice in 2 weeks, with Grouplove as well. Again, probably doubtful for Bunbury for both bands.

Still seems a little soon to me, especially with it being two different production companies. I'd think that PromoWest would be worried about Grouplove being on Wonderbus lineup taking away ticket sales from their show. However, Wonderbus doesn't drop until March and tickets go on sale Friday, so maybe not such a conflict. Either way, I want to see them as much as possible because they've a favorite of mine, and I'll gladly take whatever I can get after 3+ years of no shows in the area.

we can maybe throw WAVVES into the mix. they're doing a 10th anniversary tour for King of the Beach, and they go nowhere near cincinnati.

As a way late question about last year — did anyone go to the lovelytheband aftershow last year? I went and was right on time, but didn’t see The Orphan, The Poet play. Did they cancel?

Primavera announced their lineup. It’s in Barcelona, same weekend as Bunbury. I cannot figure out how to add a picture on mobile.
But the big names are
Thursday - The National, King Princess, Brittany Howard, Cigarettes After Sex, Dinosaur JR
Friday - Strokes, Beck, Lana del Ray, Brockhampton, Kacey Musgraves, Maggie Rogers
Saturday - Tyler the Creator
I imagine, most of these acts are out then.

See this is the type of direction I'm surprised Bunbury isn't going, appealing to more of an Alt Rock/Indie Rock crowd overall. This would be a solid lineup for a festival geared towards like. I guess it does kind of sound like a Forecastle lineup (all be it probably a bit heavy) Surprised this is the Primavera lineup when looking back at previous lineups.

Although I kind of look at Homecoming as being more Indie than Alternative Rock.

What's interesting is how far down Girl Talk is comparatively to how high Bunbury had him.

I think we guessed wrong on COIN. Alessia Cara is playing at Governor's Ball.

How much do we normally share with Gov Ball, since they're the same weekend and a day's drive from each other?

How much do we normally share with Gov Ball, since they're the same weekend and a day's drive from each other? It varies but it's usually anywhere from two acts up to six or seven acts. It's not a complete crossover but you can usually find some.

How much do we normally share with Gov Ball, since they're the same weekend and a day's drive from each other? Now that I'm looking I only see one shared act last year. The 1975 played Governor's Ball. They were a headliner here but they were listed third on Saturday at The Governor's Ball last year. I may have missed someone else, but at a glance I only see one. It's been more in the past though.

Looking at the last few years we've shared one high-billed artist each year, I didn't look at the undercard. 2015 - Black Keys 2016 - The Killers 2017 - Wiz 2018 - Jack White 2019 - The 1975

I actually like this lineup a lot. Very diverse and covers a lot of ground. A lot deeper than last year's. Also, check out how many women are on this lineup! They clearly made a BIG effort in that regard, its impressive. Hoping we can get a few of these, with Bleachers and PTM being at the top of that list. Also would love to get Muna

I will DEFINITELY give them huge props for creating a more gender-balanced lineup without sacrificing quality at all. They didn't just throw some women in, all the way down in the bottom of the undercard to say it's balanced, either, they're there in roughly equal numbers from the top line all the way down.

What's interesting is how far down Girl Talk is comparatively to how high Bunbury had him. I mean Girl Talk was 13th on his day at bonnaroo the same year. He really had no business that high up on any lineup
