Considering that Billie Eilish is in Chile on the 5th and Columbia on the 7th, there's no way in hell she was ever booked. I don't care what leaks said.
Not sure what to really think or what to expect because it seems like many of us throwing out interests or ideas have different tastes. Will be interesting to see who likes and who doesn’t and as I read, the “what could’ve been vs. the what it is”

I hope people are willing to share some of the acts we lost - I'd be interested in seeing the comparison as well

Im trying to look at it as a dollars spent standpoint. obviously everyone will have different tastes but clearly for example last year was a very very cheap year for them. they didnt spend a lot of money on the lineup and it showed. now you look at a year like 2018 and can see it was stacked with dollars. even with blink pulling out that year it was still a very strong lineup.
I’m from the Akron area and have really learned to love Cincy over the years and in all honesty this will be my first Bunbury, so really hoping I didn’t jump the gun by looking at all the alumni they’ve had with high hopes for this year, but we’ll see where my luck is at lol

To be honest, the headliners aren't as important to me as an insane undercard. I'd rather have awesome acts to watch all day and then top off the night with someone decent. Compare that to having nothing to watch all day just to have a killer headliner and I'd take option #1

Another plus to this is that I can be in bed by 11 if I don't like the headliner.

I guess I'm the opposite. I'd rather have a top alt rock act headliner like Muse, Black Keys, Killers, etc. There are usually enough people who play guitar throughout the day to keep me entertained leading up to that.
If they played Cincinnati recently does that take them off the table? I know 1975 played pnc then bunbury... mainly thinking of silversun pickups for this scenario?

What I'm really banking on is that there are no artists that people in my group want to wait like 60-90 min before their set to get a good spot. in 2018, my group wanted to get close for post malone and it was awkward as hell for me to be stuffed in that crowd haha and we missed dropkick murphys because of that

Generally speaking, yes a Cincinnati date will affect their Bunbury availability. The reason I heard MEMI was okay with the 1975 hitting up Bunbury was bc the date at PNC was announced before Bunbury and had already sold out. Also it took place before Bunbury.

I'm pretty much over getting to a stage early for a good spot. I generally like chilling in the back so that I have easy access to beer. The two biggest exceptions for me have been Muse and Jack White. And if Foxy Shazam is there this year, I'll be at that stage early for a front row spot.

I used to LOVE silversun, but we went to their holiday show this year and it was an absolute bore. The vast majority of the crowd left after a song or two and they completely mailed it in

Dropkick Murphys were incredible. I got one of their picks that got thrown into the VIP. My friends would have watched that other stuff without me.

Dropkick Murphy’s were my first concert like 14 years ago with The Offspring.. amazing show and a wild experience for a teenager that was 90lbs haha

Dang... that's heartbreaking to hear. I love them. I couldn't get off work that night and it was killing me... but maybe not getting off was a blessing in disguise then.

Wait, I thought Foxy Shazam broke up?
They did. There's a rumor of a reunion this year hitting Bunbury. Of course at this point it's only a rumor.

Honestly, that's something I wish I was more comfortable with doing. I tend to not want to branch from the group and go solo. Usually there are no problems but when you know nothing about rap music and you're 4 rows from post malone with people going bananas I just feel like i'm super out of place
