Facebook. No clue why, now that the lineup is out I’m grasping for straws that there’s hidden clues in there lol

Yeah, the alt is really missing in the mid card. I think 2018 or 2016 were the best years for that. This lineup is so weird. Oliver Tree at #7??? Come on. I like him, but he's way down on most lineups Agreed. From memory 2018 came to mind for me as well.

Well, I just bought my VIP tickets for Wonderstruck. Guess I'll see you all back here next winter. Let's hope for a better 2021.

The only difference I see is the addition of The New Regime.
I’ve been listening to all the bands and have found a bunch I don’t mind listening to...they just don’t move the needle from an excitement standpoint.

Also, re: it's well attended imgur.com/a/wZ1571hNot even close haha. The venue was packed out to the stage last year. Nice try with the 6pm crowd his was 10 min before announcement Pic I posted was 615. The crowd moved from under the awning to in the main area for the announcement. About half of last year's crowd at best

I counted 8 acts fronted by females. That doesn’t seem too horrible

I didn’t either. To be honest, I expect them to be an “addition”. They and AvA are at Shaky, so why not. Easy enough.

Someone took a picture of the projection screen they showed the lineup on at the announcement party. They were on the bottom row of that.

When do they generally post their days they’re playing on? This will be the key factor on if I sell these tickets. Already looking at 60-40 to sell, but that would put me over the edge if the daily’s suck even more

I counted 8 acts fronted by females. That doesn’t seem too horrible 8/38 = 21%. That's an embarrassingly low percentage, they deserve to get reamed for that

I just looked at Governor's Ball. At least 9 of the top 20 are female fronted acts. There's a couple acts I don't know and didn't look up so it could be more, but still.... At least 9 compared to 2.

Expand it to bands who have women as background musicians, and you've got 11 (Trombone Shorty). If Aurborne Toxic Event kept Anna, you'd have almost 50%.

Remember when last year it was said they wanted to book more female artists and then they proceeded to book about the same amount that they always do? lol

That's an embarrassingly low percentage, they deserve to get reamed for that ST has 8 female fronted bands there and they are a metal festival, a scene that is almost entirely male fronted. No excuse for whatever scene bunbury is going for which is... Country-alt-pop, with a splash of rock?

For what it's worth, I did get a pretty good backstory to all the adds/drops that happened this year from my source. I'll post a recap likely next week once the boards die down a little bit.

Avett Brothers are playing Pittsburgh on Sunday June 7th (Peterson Events Center). Yep. They have Saturday June 6th listed on their website for Bunbury. With Marshmello in Romania on June 5th, he has to play June 7th. So those of you who wanted days, Friday - Twenty One Pilots, Saturday - Avett Brothers, Sunday - Marshmello

I would have figured Avett for the late on Sun, but welp.
Also really amused at all of the people saying "GREAT LINEUP" both at the reveal event and online and just focusing on the fact that TOP is on the lineup

Nothing really for anyone that's followed this fest for awhile. They'll still tickets and likely do pretty well overall.

No wonder why MCR pulled out of Bunbury. Their arena show tickets were scooped up in a flash even at ridiculous prices. Tried to sang some as a birthday gift for friend but it was a no go haha

My amusement is mostly pointed at the "Clique" who were crossing their fingers for TOP to headline (even though it was public) and snapping just the area of the screen with TOP ASAP Jack White was my big driver for 2018, but at least there was a really good upper undercard that year. This time it's a big old batch of weirdness and too-common artists.
