J. Roddy Walston March 7 at The Taft. they put on a great show at last years festival. J Roddy is a band I felt played too early and on the wrong stage. If they come back I hope they get a later, main stage spot. I saw them in Atlanta at an awesome bar. They were very good.

The Violent Femmes are opening up for The Barenaked Ladies at PNC Pavilian on June 19th.
Violent Femmes were probably the best time I have ever had at a concert. Moonlight Gardens back on July 10, 2007... it was AWESOME

(Yes, I'm old) But I would love to go see them again. Colin Hay is also very good. He's the third act on the bill. And Barenaked Ladies are a lot of fun. It's always a funny and entertaining show whether you are a big fan of their music or not.

Red Wanting Blue is playing at the Ludlow Garage on December 4th Saw them at Madison Live (the tiny place next door). They were spot on but the drunkards in the crowd talked over them the whole time. The band called them out repeatedly but they wouldn't shut up. Then it was two minutes of "SHHH!!!" from various people. Ugh. Bronze Radio Return and The Roosevelts are playing Southgate House Revival on 10/22. Only 10 bucks, looking forward to that show!

Twenty One Pilots just announced a show at US Bank on May 31. I think it's safe to say they won't be back at Bunbury this year.

I like them, but ready for some new acts.
