Those are Bunbury prices for sure. I think Bunbury 2016 still wins with Florence, The Killers, and Deadmau5. I am thinking about buying WonderRoad tickets as well. There are people selling on Instagram and Facebook, but seems kinda sketchy. I would agree. Bunbury had a STRONG undercard too. Ice Cube, Of Monsters & Men, Mudcrutch with Tom Petty. Just unreal

Beach Bunny 8. James Bay 9. Meg Myers 10. Knocks 11. Morgxn 12. Almost Monday Anyone listened to any other acts? I like the Daisy the Great song with AJR, will definitely listen to more.

Love her cover of "Running Up That Hill". Will be fun to hear live.

Social media for this festival is buzzing with hyoe for the Duran Duran booking. This is a VERY popular get based on the 348 comments on the FB post about it. I'm pretty excited too, especially after looking up recent performances. They still sound phenomenal!

The price for wonderbus just doesn’t hit for me compared to something like firefly which is just a little more expensive. Awesome for y’all that got the presale deal though! I think this is the first year we will make the journey to Firefly.

Damn, that's a pretty good deal compared to Wonderbus.

We officially got tickets and camping for Firefly. Apparently there was a lot of issues with purchasing tickets through AXS. I was able to get them within the first few minutes with no problems. Extremely excited about the lineup and the fact that this will be our first camping experience at a fest! One of the best parts about this time period is discovering new artists on the lineup I don't know. So far I dig Ashnikko, little simz, and cold war kids. Haven't dug too deep yet. Can give a firm no on Gunna though

Forecastle has added two additional undercard acts: Dayglow and Beabadoobee. Both very solid undercard booking, and nice additions. That being said, definitely not enough to convince me to buy a ticket lol.

So far, I got Beach House this week. I’m gonna see Multimagic at MOTR Saturday. Then, I have AJR, The Lumineers and Caamp, Wonderbus, Head and the Heart at Red Rocks. May see The Band Camino as well. And I’m definitely trying to hit up WonderRoad.

MCR tickets are well over $300 for pit. Price of firefly was already worth imo but sheesh. Also, I really like the louder than life lineup. I'd love to go Thursday but firefly is the same weekend unfortunately. I've been waiting for BMTH to announce a U.S tour so hopefully that comes along soon.

Yeah, the MCR ticket prices were just too much for me. I’d have to find a place to stay in Cincinnati and drive the 2 1/2 hours, and with gas prices so uncertain, just have to pass on that. Yeah, I would say the firefly deal was great with the lineup they provided. I think it was very strong.

Bourbon and Beyond has unveiled a STRONG 2022 lineup, and has clearly shifted to take over the demographic left behind by Forecastle. In fact, I'm fairly confident the vast majority of bands on here are Forecastle alumni. Lot of GREAT bands on here I'd love to see. Jack White, Alanis Morrisette, Kings of Leon, Pearl Jam, Chris Stapleton,Greta Van Fleet, Doobie Brothers, Brandi Carlisle, Father John Misty, Revivalists, Jason Isbell, St. Vincent, CAAMP, Cold War Kids and more.

Pretty pleased with this one. My guess is this might be why Forecastle’s lineup was such garbage. Seems Bourbon & Beyond snatched everyone up. Also explains why so many people seemed to be skipping Louisville this year. Sunday is pretty weak, but every other day is solid for my tastes (I’m not a Stapleton fan, so that is why Sunday is a bust for me). Don‘t love the location or layout compared to Forecastle but I’ll be there this year.

But the mix is so broad...didn't know Pearl Jam did festivals anymore, but they gotta follow GVF? barf. Thursday and Saturday are the best days IMO.

Been out of the loop with the job taking up a lot of time but it feels like the festival season and lineups have lacked a bit of juice this year. Outside of Bourbon and Beyond, which is stellar.
I also noticed Wonderbus is doing a Mother's Day Sale where if you purchase one 3-Day ticket you can get another for $5. That's not a great sign for ticket sale. I haven't gotten any yet because I need to figure out how many I need to go and if I want 3 Days or not but yikes.
I'll probably still get mine but the price hike and lineup combo is likely contributing to the ticket says. And not to mention I just saw that Breakaway Festival (which is the same weekend in Columbus at Old Crew Stadium) is bringing in Chainsmokers, Griz and Lane 8, which could certainly bring away some of the college demo they would usually see. So, a new music festival was just announced for Labor Day weekend in Indy. "All IN Music & Arts Festival" at the State Fairgrounds. No lineup yet, but the event is organized by veteran music promoters, including the founders of Okeechobee festival who also worked for Bonnaroo for a time. I'm expecting it to probably be more pop/hip-hop/EDM, probably like a FOorecastle 2022 vibe. WonderRoad has the alternative and more mature rock band market pretty well cornered. I have no idea what to expect from this festival headliner wise, but Post Malone and Billie Eilish seem like potential headliners.

I hate that this site had been so slow lately. I keep checking for new posts every other day or so. Ha
I'm sure y'all know but it's Live Nation concert week. Lots of good shows {mostly in Indy as that's where I live} for only $25 and no fees. I bought for 3 shows "The Black Keys\Band of Horses", "Guster\The Wood Brothers", and "Judah and the Lion\The National Parks"
I saw the All In Festival announcement and I'm very curious. Almost pulled the trigger on the Mother's Day promo for WonerRoad. Still undecided though

Definitely interested to hear what comes of this All In Festival. I'd love to get to Indy for something like that. I think I may have to pull the trigger on the Wonderbus tickets this weekend. I'm mainly interested to see: Lorde, Duran Duran, Young the Giant, COIN, The Knocks, Cannons, Hembree and The Orphan The Poet.
I think I just convinced myself to pull the trigger...

That seems like too good of an opportunity to pass up. Although I don't know how they sound these days... Or perhaps Incubus at Blossom...

There weren’t many good Livenation deals here, I snagged Misterwives at Bogarts. Saw them at Bunbury at 2018 and loved them.

I know have tickets for: Cam Cole Black Keys\Band of Horses Guster\Wood Brothers Judah and the lion\The National Parks AJR\BoyWithUke The Airborne Toxic Event WonderBus Seriously thinking about a few others. We'll see

Just realized we have still not heard anything about Railbird, and the 2021 site is still up. That festival was a downright disaster and PR nightmare last year, and with Bourbon and Beyond scooping up a TON of great acts that would typically fall into Railbird's wheelhouse, I think we can put that one in the festival graveyard. It's a shame too, so much potential for a great fest, especially with a sellout last year. But they absolutely bungled it. 2021 website is still up, so unless they move it back to September or early October, I think it's too late for it to come back this year.
