Remember the first year when they had actual footage of a bee hive in between sets on the screens. I demand more BEE FOOTAGE!

Also, shout out to the soundboard at the main stage not being 300 feet tall like last year THIS might be the biggest improvement they've ever done.

Anyone see that Riot Fest has Blink-182 on top...wonder if they'll show up to that haha I saw that. Blink 182 seems like an awfully blah band for headlining Riot Fest. There is a lot of good hidden in that lineup though. I would love to hit it up one of these years. yeah pretty eclectic worth the trip to Chicago. oddly enough lots of Bunbury bands haha Blink, YTG, Incubus, Front Bottoms etc

Fitz just tweeted they will seeeveryone at 745 tomorrow night Ugh. This actually sucks for me. Fitz and YTG are two of the main acts I want to see. Having them across the venue from each other with one ending at the same time as the other starting is not good. Is there a way to know if a stage is running behind at all? Or do acts generally start about on time? Like...is there a chance we'd be over at Fitz and know we have a few extra minutes to get over to the other stage for YTG?

There could be exceptions, but generally acts start and end on time. They are pretty strict about that to keep things moving.

They almost always start on time, but artists often end a few mins early. You might miss a few seconds of the start of a band if you're doing the stage pilgrimage. It's no where near as bad as you think!

They typically start on time, but in my experience if you move to the back of the lawn for the end of Fitz you shouldn't have a problem getting over to YTG. It sucks being able to hear them starting as you're making that hurried walk, but I think the most I've missed is a song.

Craft beer stations are busier between right after a big act finishes. But you will find the beer angels that walk through the crowd with iced down buckets of beer but they only have miller lite

No Royal Blood conflict? Awesome! This would be amazing! I was going to miss their set because I love Fitz and have never seen Bishop Briggs. I really enjoyed Royal Blood's set a few years ago, so I was a bit bummed that I couldn't make all 3 work before.

I was already bummed about having it for my other 2 main bands, Foster the People into Incubus. The last I wanted was for it to happen AGAIN with my other two big ones. I wasn't upset about Blink really....but now that it screwed my ability to hang out and be ready for YTG I am, lol. Hoping VIP doesn't prove to actually be a hindrance here. Was thinking it would be a benefit - still can get a good spot even if we aren't camped out...but if there's a line to get INTO VIP on the next stage, then it'll probably take longer to get close to the stage. Bummer. Well, we'll figure it out and it will be what it will be :-)

We're not super heavy drinkers, and I'll be drinking wine anyway. We will be straight from one to the other. Does anyone run ever? Haha.

I don't recall waiting for more than mere seconds to get into the VIP area. They are efficient. And as others have said, the walk between stages is not as far as it maybe seems. So no, VIP is most certainly not a hindrance.

I would say if you leave at the start of the last song, you'll hear most of it on the walk and get to the other stage in time to hear their first song as you're making the walk.

I've only ever heard of a headliner going a couple minutes long. Some acts will finish short by a few minutes but Fitz is a very seasoned band so I can imagine theyll be down to the last minute. I can see YTG being a few minutes late to start, that tends to happen with the closer on that stage for some reason. 21 Pilots was like 15 minutes late a couple years ago.
