So when do we expect an updated schedule? Are they really gonna wait until tomorrow? Not sure what the wait is. I was told that Fitz is taking the blink spot, and royal blood is taking the Fitz spot That would be the ideal schedule. Fingers crossed this happens.

I can't see them leaving a gap at either of the main stages.

Not sure if this was a final plan or not. Believe it or not, TONS of stuff like this changes all the time

I hope they make an official announcement by June 4th. After the June 4th announcement on their app they'll announce it on their website on June 11th.

Mike from Royal Blood did break a bone in his foot, but they're continuing on with shows anyway.

Guess we will see when we get there ha Dear god who knows at this point haha. I also thought of the possibility of a “surprise” artist to fill the gap that they won’t announce until they go on. I think Redding/Leads does this?

They need good vibes more than anything right now and would love to be able to shut up the twitters complaints.

I just want an answer on gang of youths. It's probably a bad answer since they are currently in London, but stop hiding bad news or whatever they're doing. I get that bands cancel, I don't get hiding it or not filing the spot with viable options that are willing and available.

Good Luck all! I hope it all works out for the best. It's been a pleasure chatting with you this Bunbury season.
I'll be thinking of you all as I'm flying out to Colorado.
Hopefully we can keep this little community going into the offseason this year. There's plenty of other festivals/concerts/new albums/new artists and such to discover and discuss!
As I've said before, I'm heading to Forecastle this year if any of you are also planning on making the drive down to Louisville.
Have fun!

The schedule has been moved around. Looks like they just moved everyone down an hour on the main stage... Royal Blood/Bishop Briggs conflict still exists.

I forgot the link: bunburyfestival.com/schedule-2018So it looks like, Fitz moved to Blink's spot as expected. They moved LANY to Fit'z spot and Welshly Arms to LANY's spot. Welshly is also bumped up from a 30 minute set to an hour set. However, the good news seems to be that Gang of Youths wasn't removed, so you'd think if they weren't playing at this point, they'd have snuck them off the schedule.

Random question. They can scan my ticket from my phone right? Make sure to have the screen ready as you are going through security and have your brightness turned all the way up. Otherwise you will hold people up

yikes, what problem did the schedule change really solve? Welshly Arms fans get twice the time to see them I guess? I guess the one thing would be if we do get hit by storms early there will be less to delay and there won't be an hour without a band playing anywhere. I was really hoping they could solve that Royal Blood/Bishop Briggs conflict but they've been pretty hesitant to move people away from the stages they were set on.

I honestly don't know how this is the solution they came up with. I get blink canceling was beyond their control, but they have handled it terribly. Really bad PR for PromoWest while they're competing for a permanent venue downtown.

yeah that's the conflict that needed solved and was easy with blink canceling, seemed obvious and simple. oh well bishop at river is cool. i forgot about weather hopefully that's holds off. welshly arms is good and I've seen them twice. They deserve to play an hour. I've seen them play both opening and headliner sets and never was bored but I doubt anyone is coming just for them lol. So this doesn't solve the Blink void. the Briggs/Blood resolution would at least give most people another band to see in hopes to make the day still exciting. But losing out on the headliner and then still have conflicts seems rather unacceptable.

Front Bottoms/Rayman is another conflict I feel like could be spaced out more to give the opportunity of halfsies but boy are they really making us choose between a few acts this year.

City Council makes the final decision and had not made their choice yet.

Geez I don't know how they thought that was the best solution. Two scheduling conflicts they could have cleared up and instead they just move things down and give Weshley Arms move time. I mean I'm not going until Sunday but I feel bad for the people going that thought those conflicts would be resolved. But I look forward to yall's post today to get me hyped, especially about how the River Stage is.
