I definitely wouldn't mind A & A.
Been hearing about Lizzo and checked it out. Put me squarely in the category of Not a Fan.

IF they do scoop up Angels and Airwaves, I would assume they would play the 7:45-8:45 spot at Yeatman's.
As far as Lizzo goes, she's definitely not my thing but seeing that she is blowing up (...in popularity...) I could see Bunbury grabbing her

I'm going to assume she is the one that you referenced your friend had mentioned about a song by a headliner playing while you were at Pins. She is someone you would want to book NOW for anything in the future because of how quickly she is blowing up.

Its interesting, her song "Truth Hurts" was released two years ago as a single but it is now climbing up the the hot 100 and is currently at #6. I see more Hot 100 success for her in the upcoming year. I think if they do book her, it will be much like the Post Malone booking.

Chance the rapper has a pretty extensive fall tour and he doesn’t go anywhere near Cincinnati. I’d imagine he hits the festival circuit hard next summer, bunbury or forecastle will probably grab him

I also noticed that people were lined up for BLOCKS for Khalid this past Friday night in Columbus. Whoever doesn't get Chance should probably approach Khalid because he would certainly bring in a good crowd based on what I saw.

He hit the festival circuit show hard in 2016, he played everything. Also in 2017 he was pretty active. Not so much in 2018. He’s obviously pretty big but you’re right, bunbury seems like the last festival he still has to play. I think that has caused him to kind of become common. I’ve also heard his live shows are pretty boring. I haven’t really dived into his new album, but what made Acid Rap so popular was it was a classic rap stoner kind of burnout album. Coloring book had Kanye on it so it had to be massive. His latest album didn’t have the grand rollout of coloring book and it’s really all about his religion and wife. Not bashing him for that but I’ve heard it’s his worst work

I can't really see any current rap act that would get me excited at this point. They'd be better off booking Nelly or Lil Wayne as a non headliner and calling it a day and then sprinkle in some up and coming rappers and what not. Go get Lil Nas X or something haha.

I feel like he's still big enough to move a lot of tickets. His popularity may have faded a little from its peak but I bet he'd still be a huge draw, but would likely be very expensive. I don't know, he doesn't seem worth the investment and certainly wouldn't add anything for me. I'd be disappointed if he headlines

Has she done things like this before? Something about her comes off as unreliable. She’s been cancelling a lot of her shows recently bc of plastic surgery complications, people were shocked she made it to bonnaroo. Although cancelling 30 minutes after the start is not something I’d heard from her before

Interesting. I haven't seen much noise about this on the twittersphere. Sounds like a situation that would/should get more publicity.

Almost sounds like one of those situations where they’re trying to keep the hysteria down again. Not to be morbid but if I’m a promoter for a future date I might be worried this getting a lot of attention would hurt sales

She put out a string of now deleted tweets this morning including a video she recorded for fans right when the decision was made but was told not to post. She says she was putting on her makeup and rehearsing when threat was received. She's assuring everyone that it was strictly a precaution and everyone was safe. Some people believe it, some don't SOme say show should have gone on since security at Bankers Life is really thorough. It was a sold out show too. it has been rescheduled.

Take it as a grain of salt but a celebrity blind item website is insinuating that she partied way too hard and couldn't do the show due to her condition.
Did the arena or security every put out anything about the situation?

Alrighty here we go: Lumineers just announced a tour for the first half of 2020. Columbus on Feb. 4th, Cleveland Feb 8th, Indy Feb 18th, Pittsburgh Feb 25th. No Cincinnati date.
They play New Jersey on the 5th of June and New York on the 6th of June so that would leave only Sunday the 7th open for a Bunbury performance.
They also don't seem to have any Kentucky dates on there so Forecastle is still in play as well.
Their tour follows a really random pattern.

The only logic to how sporadic their scheduling is is that they are going to be hitting festivals hard. There are way too many gaps in there. I'd definitely support seeing them Sunday!

Did the arena or security every put out anything about the situation? Yeah, the arena released a statement and the Indianapolis Star did an article detailing the decision making process. I guess they opened doors but did not let people into the seating bowl as they evaluated the threats then postponed it. Cardi did share a video she made right as the decision had been made, and she did not seem impaired at all. I'd say that article is bogus

Maybe even Railbird I'm not an overly big Lumineers fan so it wouldn't sway me towards a festival if they were on it or not. I would prefer other headliners but I think at this point with them headlining Firefly we should assume they would be a headliner. Definitely agree one of those three festivals is certainly getting them next year.
